Connor had been sitting on the couch for hours now, slowly switching through channels on the TV in boredom. Liv had fallen asleep a few hours ago, and without her around, he didn't really know what to do. With deviancy, he also now got bored very easily, but hadn't really figured out how to handle it yet.

He was zoned out, but snapped out of it when he heard Liv screaming from the other room. Connor ran to her. She was still asleep, screaming with tears in her eyes.

"Liv! Liv, wake up!" Connor said, shaking her a little to try to see what was wrong. Her eyes opened and were puffy from tears.

"Liv, what's wrong?" Connor asked as she wrapped her arms around him in a tight embrace.

"I know it was actually years ago, but in my mind it was only a couple weeks ago. He was going to kill me..." she said through tears.

"Liv, I'm sorry that you had to go through that. It's the past though. He's not going to hurt you again, I'll make sure of it," Connor said. Hearing Liv describe the event only increased his hate for that man. If he ever saw him again, there was no telling what he'd do to him.

"Stay here with me, please," Liv said. Connor did so, laying down beside her. They sat in silence for a while, the only sound being her quiet sobs.

"Why did I forget you, and not him?" She asked, which broke Connor's heart a little too. He wished that she could have forgotten the bad, instead of the good, but for now he'd just have to comfort her through it.

"The implant isn't taking as much time as I thought it would, Alexander. We can have control in about 6 hours, do you still want me to take control as soon as possible?" Liam asked.

"She's remembering too much," Alexander said as he watched the screens around Liam, "The second you can take control, do it. I don't want her remembering anymore than she already knows. Prevent it in anyway possible."

"I can't prevent it until the implant is ready."

"Then find a way to do it!"

"Damn, I thought I was the impulsive one," Liam said under his breath as he turned to the screens again. He swiped around, trying to find a way to do what Alexander asked.

Liam stopped to look at Liv's view for a moment, she was cuddled next to Connor. Gross. She was a crying mess after remembering about her father. He didn't want to admit it in front of Alexander, but even Liam was disgusted by what he had done to his daughter.

"You won't have to deal with emotions much longer, Olivia," Liam said.

His head started to hurt. It happened often. Most likely a side effect of making himself completely andriod. Liam wished he was smart enough to test it on someone before himself, but the old him would never have done that.

The old Liam was too emotional. Becoming a machine made him cold. He still couldn't understand how Liv was so empathetic compared to him. The screen in front of him showed a hybrid, just like him, but crying as she clung to Connor. Liam didn't care about not feeling, but it puzzled him that she was so different.

The new Liam was emotionless, and hungry for power. That's why he worked with Alexander. They wanted the same things, and he was powerful enough to get Liam where he's wanted to be.

The old Liam was sometimes a voice in his head, one that didn't want any of this. The old Liam was still desperately in love with Noah. He screamed at himself for hurting Connor, Liv, and especially the man he wanted to marry, and for working with this man. He didn't want to make these machines, and didn't want to test them on people who just wanted normal lives. Alexander wanted those things, not him. But the person Liam had become wanted to make Alexander proud of him. No matter what he had to do.

The new Liam had completely taken over. He couldn't be stopped by anything. The old Liam didn't have a say anymore. He wasn't fragile and weak anymore.

But at least Liam knew that he was the bad guy. Even the new Liam did, even if he didn't care that he was. What was frightening about Alexander was how he could be so vile, but still think his way was always right. He truly thought that it was only right for androids to be slaves, and was willing to kill all the remaining ones to put things back how he wanted it to be.

However, the more Liam started feeling like just a machine, he wondered what Alexander thought about him. Would he just kill him and toss him to the side like he wanted to with every other android?
