Whispers could be heard from the deviants as Liv walked around the abandoned church. She knew that many didn't approve of her being here, and she didn't blame them for thinking that way. Connor and Liv had been one of the biggest threats towards the revolution less than 2 hours ago, so why should they be trusted? Not only that, but Liv was human. That alone made most of them see her as a threat.

She kept pacing around, trying to keep up with the events that happened today. Many people were looking at her, but she caught a particular persom staring. When Liv looked over, she immediately turned away. She sat next to the woman, the AX400 with the little girl. They scooted away from Liv.

"I'm sorry," Liv said, seeing how uncomfortable they seemed with her being there, "We didn't realize what we were doing. Connor was following programming, but I should've known it was wrong. I know what we did was terrible, but I just want you to know we're both really sorry. If you don't mind me asking, what are your names?"

"My name is Kara," the AX400 said. The little girl was curled up beside her, but peeked her head out when Kara gave her name.

"I'm Alice."

"It's nice to officially meet you two, I'm Liv," She smiled at the girl, "You two seem very close. How did you meet?"

"I was taking care of her. Her father was beating her, and one day I just snapped. I knew I had to protect her."

"My dad wasn't a very nice man either, Alice, but I had someone looking out for me when I was younger too. I'll always be grateful for him," she said, "Kara, if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask. Me and Connor will be here for you if you need us."

"We're trying to get across the border. We had someone else helping us, another andriod named Luther. He was injured on the boat, and I wasn't able to get him out. I'm not sure if he survived the bomb. I'm hoping he did, I don't know what we'll do without him. We were... family."

"I haven't heard anything about him, but I hope you find him and get across. After everything that's happened, you deserve to be happy. If you get across, can you let me know? And if you stay in Detroit, you can stay at my apartment if you want," Liv said.

"That's very kind of you," Kara half-smiled. Liv gave her her phone number, just in case they ever needed someone.

"You're very brave, Alice. I hope you have fun in Canada," Liv kneeled down in front of the little girl and smiled.

"Have you ever been to Canada, Liv?" Alice asked.

"I haven't, but I've heard it's, like, so awesome. You and Kara are going to have a wonderful life there, I promise you."

"Pinky-promise?"

"Pinky-promise!" Liv said as she locked her finger with the child's. She looked back to Connor and Markus, who seemed to be having an argument over something, "I should probably go now. I hope everything works out for the two of you."

Liv walked away from them, heading to Markus and Connor. Connor was rambling on about something, not noticing Liv walking up to them.

"Markus, there are thousands of andriods at the CyberLife assembly plant. If we can wake them up, they might join us and shift the balance of power," Connor explained.

"You want to infiltrate the CyberLife tower?" Markus questioned.

"Connor, that's suicide!" Liv said, going to his side.

"Liv,"

"Don't 'Liv' me, you're not going to go kill yourself!"

"She's right, Connor. They'll kill you before you're even inside!"
