The next day at work was interesting to say the least. Connor tried over and over to get Liv to talk to him for just a minute. She ignored everything he said, only focusing on paperwork.
"Liv, let me explain. I just need a minute to talk to you."
"Connor, go away."
To make things worse, Gavin walked over to Liv's desk. He smiled at her, and sat at the end of the desk. He completely ignored the andriod's presence.
"Hey, princess. I'm glad to see you again."
"Well, the feeling isn't mutual."
"You see that's why I missed you, you're feisty."
"Gavin, shut the hell up. Don't you have something better to do?"
"Nope. What could be better than talking to you?" He smirked, "Not that I'm complaining, but you're back pretty early for getting shot."
"Go away, Gavin," Connor said.
"What was that, plastic?"
"Stop. She's obviously uncomfortable around you."
"I think this piece of plastic likes you, Thomas," Gavin said to Liv, "For an android, you're pretty fucking stupid."
"You're right, Gavin, it does like me. Damn machine even tried to kiss me yesterday," Liv smirked at her words, and was ready to sit back and watch the show. She knew how Gavin would react. This was going to be fun to see. Gavin stood up to face the andriod.
"Really, you think a human will fall in love with you?" Gavin laughed and shoved Connor, "She's out of your league, even if you weren't a plastic prick. Yet you've got the nerve to say I make her uncomfortable."
Once Liv had enough of the two arguing and shoving each other around, she told both to go away and leave her alone. Neither listened.
"Reed, you should go," Liv said.
"Oh I get it," Gavin winked, "I'll be back over once tin-man is gone."
Liv just rolled her eyes. Now she just had to get rid of Connor, but that also meant Gavin would come back over, which she really didn't want either.
"Can I talk to you now?" Connor asked.
"Whatever, I'll talk to you, but if you can't convince me in five minutes why I should forgive you, you've got to leave me alone. Got it?"
"Got it."
"Five minutes starts now."
"Remember at the Eden Club, when I probed the memories of those andriods to find out where the deviant went? Use your andriod arm to do that to me, and you'll see what I did yesterday," Connor said as he reached his arm out towards her.
"Can I even do that?" She asked, reluctantly reaching out her arm.
"I don't know, but it's worth a shot, because I know you won't believe me without proof. Just grab a hold of my arm, and I'll show you what happened after we left Kamski's."
