Liv had fallen asleep next to him, and Connor had went into standby mode, which was closest thing to sleep he could get. Her hand moved on his chest as she started to wake up. Connor started to get up as well, seeing that she was starting to.

"Stay," Liv mumbled before Connor could get up. He laid back down.

"Good morning," Connor said, "Well, it isn't morning actually. You slept in."

"You didn't have to go to work today?" Liv asked.

"No, I have the rest of the week off," Connor said, "Now that andriods are free there isn't many cases involving them. And I think Fowler just doesn't know what to do with me now as well.

"Liv, I know you miss it. I'm sure Fowler would give you your job back if you just asked."

"I miss it, but I don't know if I want to go back. I'm going to have to get a job eventually, though," she said.

"Whatever you decide, I understand," Connor nodded. Liv's phone buzzed a few times on the bedside table, making her jump from the sudden noise. She groaned and grabbed it.

"Noah said they would pick us up tonight at 5. Apparently Liam wants it to be a surprise, so he doesn't know where we're going. He just said to dress nice," Liv said, "I'm gonna go shower and figure out what I'm gonna wear, I guess."

"Con, I need your advice on something," Liv called from her bedroom. He walked in as he fastened the button on the cuff of his shirt.

"Yes?" He asked, and she held up two blazers.

"Should I go with the burgundy blazer or the teal one?" she asked, "I can't decide."

"Burgundy, definitely," he said, and she took the jacket off the hanger and slipped it on.

"Thanks," she said, and put on her heels before she sighed as she laid back down on the bed. Connor did the same.

"You look gorgeous," Connor said, turning his face towards hers.

"You're not so bad yourself," she smiled, then kissed him.

Their kiss deepened, lasting much longer than she had first intended, but she didn't mind. Laying here together, all their worries seemed to melt away. For the first time in weeks she wasn't stressed. Here, with him, nothing else mattered. She snuggled closer to him as she felt herself slowly forget about all their problems that laid outside their apartment, and it was moments like these that made her remember why they did everything they could to be here together.

Liv snapped back into when Connor pulled his lips away from hers, "I think Noah's here."

She heard it now, and she wasn't sure how she hadn't before. He was pounding on the door, but she wasn't ready to leave just yet.

"Just a minute!" She yelled, hoping he would hear. She pulled Connor closer for one last kiss before they got out of bed. She took a second to fix her slightly disheveled appearance before they went to the door.

"Wait," Liv said, just before Connor could open the door. She straightened his tie, earning a small smile from him, "Okay, now we can go."

"It's about time," Noah said and smirked, "What were you two even doing in there?"

"Nothing," Liv said.

"Sure," Noah laughed, "I just hope I wasn't interrupting anything."

"We weren't having sex, if that's what you're implying, " Connor explained, "We were just making out."

"Connor!" Liv said as her cheeks turned light purple from embarrassment, "He didn't ask!"

"Sorry," Connor said, "At least I didn't give more details."

"Yeah, I'm already blocking out that memory. I'm just glad that I knocked instead of using my key," Noah laughed as they went out to Liam's car.
