His hands gripped around her neck tighter, making everything she saw fade from view. Liv saw another person's feet as they run towards her, and the android's grip became loose as he shoved the other man to the side. She gasped for as much air as she could.
"You bastard," Liv said with rage, clenching her fist so tight that her knuckles turned white as his grip tightened again. She kicked the android above her with as much force as she could. He released his grip from the sudden blow and fell over to the side of her. Liv stood up and walked to the deviant. He cowered in fear of the young woman. She picked up her gun from the spot it had been thrown when the fight began.
The deviant had backed away from her to the point where he was at the edge of the building. Liv placed her hands on the gun, wrapping her finger around the trigger.
Liv drew in a deep breath, knowing they wouldn't learn anything if he was dead, and put her gun back into its hoster reluctantly. She walked away, backing down. Connor stood the deviant up and handcuffed him.
Hank finally caught up to them. He looked at Liv's appearance questioningly, "What the hell happened to you?"
"I'm fine, he just put up a bit of a fight, that's all."
Blood dripped down from her nose and just above her eyebrow, where she had taken a heavy blow. She touched the skin around her right eye, flinching from the pain of her swollen black eye. Bruises around her neck were dark from the andriod's strength. It felt like his hands were still there, like she couldn't breathe. Her hands roamed around her neck, trying to force herself to see that she was okay now, but this only caused more pain to her neck.
"Are you alright, Liv?" Connor asked, "My scan shows your neck isn't broken, however I believe it would be beneficial for you to see a doctor."
"I'm okay, Connor," she half smiled, "I've lived through worse, that's for sure."
"Ok, I'll take your word for it. However, you're heart rate is rapid compared to normal and you're showing signs of a panic attack. I'm aware this might be caused by your recent altercation with the deviant, but it seems like something else might be wrong," Connor said, expressing his worry for the detective.
"Stop scanning me, Connor. I'm fine." she assured, but Connor wasn't convinced. Hank had a hold of the deviant in handcuffs now.
"Why are you doing this? You're one of us!" The deviant spoke to Connor.
"Shut up!" Hank retorted.
"You're just a slave!"
"C'mon, let's go," Hank started walking the deviant back up.
"rA9 save me," the deviant muttered underneath his breath. He ran out of Hank's grasp, and off of the side of the building. The three looked down from the ledge, looking at the mess off robotic biocomponets and blue blood.
"God damnit," Hank muttered.

Liv dropped Hank off at his house, and Connor decided to stay with her to make sure she was alright. Arriving home, she just longed to sit down. The ache in her neck craved for her to take a break for a moment.
Connor found a few tiny bandages to put on the cut above her eyebrow. He addressed her wounds as well as he could, and recommended her to get some rest. The andriod left her to do so, and he decided to take a look around her apartment.
For the most part, it was undecorated. A few pictures and a fake potted plant was all she had. Everything else served some kind of purpose. Connor found it peculiar that she had absolutely no pictures of her family. The few pictures she had were of her and Hank or her and her friends from several years back.
