OBJECTIVE:
DESTROY ALL DEVIANTS
Liv woke up beside Connor. Her eyes rolled back into her head, exposing just the whites of her eyes. When her eyes went back to normal, they were darker. Her eyes had always been dark brown, but now they were nearly black. Her skin was more pale, to the point she almost looked sickly.
Connor was still lying down on the bed, not noticing what was happening to her. Her skin was the most noticable change in her appearance, and that's what he pointed out first.
"You look really pale," he said simply.
"I've always been pale," she said as she scanned him. He's a deviant, but he'd be too easy. She craved for a challenge, but first she wanted to change her appearance. Liv's former style was much too light hearted and cute for this being that was consuming her.
She changed into the best thing for her. Black T-shirt, jeans, and boots. She grabbed her car keys.
"Where are you going, Liv?" Connor asked.
"I don't think that's any of your business," she said, "and call me Olivia."
"Um, alright," Connor said as he watched her tie her hair up.
"Hey, pretty boy, do you think we could visit Jericho? Maybe going there might help me remember something," Olivia said, "I would go myself, but I can't remember where it is."
"Of course. Markus and North will be glad to see you, I'm sure."
----------
Olivia and Connor went into the church that Jericho was still located at. Many of the andriods had left, but many still had no where else to go.
"Liv! I was worried sick about you!" North said as she walked up to her.
"It's Olivia."
"You look so badass today, Olivia," North said. Olivia didn't say anything.
"It's good to see you here again, together this time," Markus said. Connor nodded, then reaching his hand out to hold hers. She jerked her hand away.
"Olivia lost a lot of her memory. She thought that coming here might help her remember something. She might be a little confused on names too."
"I can explain myself, Connor," Olivia snapped.
"I'm North, he's Markus," she introduced.
"North, do you think you could show me around? It really might help me," Olivia said. If she was going to take down all these androids, she'd have to know the building inside and out.
"Of course, but there isn't much else to see after this room," North said, and laughed a little.
"I'd like to see it for myself."
Olivia took in all her surroundings. Every inch of this place had to be calculated to do what she was going to do.
"Olivia, are you and Connor okay? You two didn't seem to be very friendly to each other earlier," North pointed out.
"He just doesn't understand that I don't remember a thing about him, no matter how much he tells me. I just don't feel anything for him," Olivia explained.
"Men are clueless. Especially android men, I'd know better than anyone," North said, "I broke up with Markus because I could tell that him and Simon are in love, but both of them are too dumb to see it."
Olivia couldn't care less about North's love life, but she pretended to be interested. She asked, "Is this the last room?"
"Yeah, that's all of Jericho at the moment. It's not too exciting but I hope it helped."
"I think this will help a lot. Thank you, North."
Olivia wasn't sure how to do this on her own. The church was pretty large, and there were at least a hundred andriods. She'd need help, a partner, but who would help her with such a thing? She had to go, there was too much planning to do.
"Connor, let's go," she ordered as soon as she walked over to him.
"You're leaving already? You just got here," Markus said.
"I'm sure I'll be back in a few days."
----------
"How's your mission going, Olivia?" Liam asked. She was in mind palace now, with an AI version of the man who created this side of Liv. He could control her through it.
Unlike Connor, her mind palace was inside. The room didn't seem to have any purpose at all, but was beautifully decorated in a modern look. The room was mainly black and white, with large windows looking outside, but were so tinted that no one could see out of them.
"Connor's annoying. He'll be gone soon enough, though," Olivia explained, "I found Jericho and have memorized the layout of the entire building to infiltrate it. I'm concerned it might not be a job I can do alone and I don't have any weapons. I'll at least need a weapon if I'm going to kill and control that many andriods without destroying myself."
"I'm working on a new model to help you. RK900 will be ready in a few days. As for weapons, there will be plenty at the DPD."
"Liv quit her job at the DPD, and Connor was fired. I'm sure I'll need some sort of authorization to get in there," Olivia said.
"See if they'll let you have the job back, if not I think you might have some other friends that can help you out. Get what you need, whatever it takes," Liam stated.
"Understood."
