"anna! the birlems are here!" my mom yelled from downstairs.

i got up from my bed and spayed on perfume. i looked in my body mirror and messed with my hair little.

i nodded in approval of what i was wearing and walked out of my room and downstairs.

i saw joey and his little sister, sophia, standing in the living room with their mom holding kashius.

"hi anna." mrs. jenna said.

"hi mrs. jenna" i said as i met the last step.

i looked around and didn't see dad. "where's dad?" i asked mom.

"he took sarah to soccer practice." she said, i nodded.

i watched as mathew walked from the kitchen and sophia started blushing, puppy love, i love it.

"we have tacos for dinner." my mom said, motioning everyone to go in the kitchen.

we went in the kitchen and joey sat across from me at the table. mathew sat next to me as sophia sat across from him.

my mom found a old high chair from when sarah was little and brought it out for kashius. mr. jenna placed kashius in the high chair and sat in the seat next to him.

my mom put the food on the table and sat down at the end of the table.

everyone stared eating and my mom just had to start a conversation. "so" she looked at joey, as if she's trying to figure out his name.

"joey." he chuckled.

"so joey, are you in any of anna's classes?" my mom asked.

joey looked and me and smirked, the he looked back at my mom. "yeah i'm in her second period."

my mom smiled while nodded. she looked at sophia and smiled. "sophia right?" she asked.

sophia looked like she was in a gaze but she got out of it. "what? yeah."

my mom chuckled. "are you in any of Mathews classes."

mathew and sophia made eye contact, mathew smiled and sophia blushed. "yeah she's in a few." mathew said.

i feel something brush against my leg under the table. i quickly look down and saw joeys foot against mine.

i look back up at him and he winks at me, giving me twisted butterflies in my stomach again.

i lightly kicked his foot under the table. he kicked my foot back, it hurt a little.

"ow." i whispered, which what my mom heard.

she put her hand on my arm and looked at me with concern, she does this a lot, since i have one freaking lung.

"honey are you okay." she asked.

i looked at joey and see how he's trying to hold in his laugh as everyone's eyes were on me. i bent down a little and rubbed my foot.

"yeah i'm fine, the taco meat was hot." i said, Imitating as if something was burning in my mouth.

i hear joey snort a little as i said that. "okay." my mom said.

i look over at joey and see as he silently laughs. i kicked his foot hard under the table, "ow!" he yelled a little.

everyone looked at him, i smirked at him, "cro- anna is right, the taco meat it hot." he said looking at me.

everyone then minded their own business. my mom was talking to joeys mom while mathew and sophia were playing with kashius.

"i'm sorry." he mouthed to me.

i playfully rolled my eyes and ate my food.

"it was nice having you all." my mom said.

mrs. jenna smiled, "anytime." she said.

"anna!" kashius screamed, how cute.

mrs. jenna looked at me and smiled. "i think he likes you anna."

i went up to kashius in her arms and played pikaboo with him. i listened to his laughter as he wrapped his fingers around my index finger.

"well we should get going." mrs. jenna said, looking at sophia and joey.

i watched as they all walked out of the house. joey turned back and solutes to me. "good night, cross." he mouthed.

i solute back to him, "good night, birlem." i mouthed back.

i smiled and closed the door as they walked away.

yep, i'm falling for him.
