part 49

before the christmas party, hunters pov

lexi texted me to meet her the enteral park. we're going to try and break up anna and joey. lexi can't get over him and i want anna all to myself.

i see her sitting on the bench. she waves me over to her, "hunter."

i sit next to her on the bench, "whats the plan."

"okay, try to get to like walk away for sometime." she says. i arch an eyebrow, "how."

"i don't know, try to say something about her family. she doesn't like it when people bring it up." she says, "just give me time with joey."

"okay got it. now what are you going to do?" i asked.

"i'll get him to kiss me right when she comes back." she said.

"okay, that's the plan."

as i'm sitting on the couch with joey, anna and jacob walk into the house. jacob goes to the bathroom while anna comes to us.

she looks at joey and smiles, joey gets up and hugs her. they both say hey and she sits next to joey before joey puts his hand on her thigh.

this is my cue, "how was your guys' christmas," i asked them "you know with your family and all."

"good." joey says, "i got presents from my family. we went to the city and saw the lights, and i got a skateboard."

i nod, "i was going to see the lights but i didn't feel like it. what about you anna?"

she shrugs, "it was just the three of us this year, but my siblings sent me a card and some presents."

i look at her like i'm sorry, her face changes. i can't wait to hug her and tell her everything is okay. joey doesn't deserve her, i'm way more better. she's so beautiful and deserves the absolute world, and i will give her that.

"i'm sorry about your fam-" she cut me off from saying anything else.

"it's fine, really it's fine." she says. the plan is going good so far, all she just has to do is leave and then i text lexi.

joey looks at her with that 'are you okay' look like he actually cares.

"can i use the bathroom?" she asked. yes! yes! yes! the plan is working!

he removed his hand from her thigh, "yeah sure babe" he says. he doesn't deserve to call him her that. "go ahead. you remember where it is right?"

"yeah." she says, and just like that she was gone.

i pull out my phone and text lexi.

all of a sudden, i see lexi come from downstairs. she's wearing a shirt that nearly shows her nipples, joey for sure will cheat.

she looks at me and smirks as she walks past me to stand over joey. "hey jojo." she says.

joey groaned in frustration, "what do you want, alexis?"

"i need to talk to you." she tells him, she looks at me, "privately."

"fine. but make it quick." he says.

lexi's pov

we go to the corner of the room. i stand there with my back to the wall so i can see when anna is coming.

"what are you even doing here? i didn't invite you." he says.

"don't you see jojo? i miss you." i said, tracing my finger on his chest.

"i'm with anna, and besides i don't miss you one bit." ouch.

"and? that doesn't mean anything. don't you want to have some fun?" i said.

"no, i don't." he says, pushing away my finger.

at that moment, i see anna walking our way. she looks mad about something. what i'm about to do will make her even more mad.

i cup the side of joey's face and smash his lips against mine, right in time for anna to definitely see.

"joey?" i hear her say. it's working...

i put my hands on my hips and give her the bitchyist smile i could someone, "hi anna!" i say.

she parted her jaw and looked at joey. "w-wha-"

"baby i-" i cut joey off.

"baby? you told me you guys broke up." i lied, looking at the two of them.

she furrowed her eyebrows in anger. "we never broke up. actually, we've been dating for almost three months. right joey?" she says.

joey itches the back of his neck, "right" he said, "i-"

"save it. you don't need to explain. i shouldn't have came obviously." she says, walking to the door.

i look hunter and motions him to follow me. we go back into the party crowd and watch them argue.

"what do you think will happen?" hunter asked me over the music.

i shrug, "i don't know but it doesn't look good."

she was yelling at him really loud. i could tell she was heart broken just by her posture. i love this.

"we need a break." i hear anna say, making me smile really big at hunter.

"it worked, oh my god it worked!" i said.

hunter high- fives me as we watched anna walking out and slamming the door behind her.

i never been so happy in my life.

"fuck!" joey yells, "everyone out! party is over!"

everyone then starts to leave the house as i watch joey walk upstairs shaking his head. for that moment i felt bad for him. wait no, i'm not doing that, i can't.

the plan worked and now i get what i want. i've been wait for this for so long.
