where was joey living?
he was living with McKenna after she found him on the side of the street. she had her son, Thomas, after Dylan and her broke up. joey was like a father figure to Thomas since she was a single mom.

joey and mckenna were nothing but friends because he still truly loved Anna and didn't want to move on.

when is the sequel coming out?
I'm not sure when exactly the sequel is coming out, but I do know there will be one. I want to focus on my other books for a while before I start and another book related to this one through.

what happened to the baby?
Anna had a miscarriage not long after she found out she was pregnant. but who knows? maybe Anna and joey will try again in the second book:)

are they still together?
technically, Anna and Joey broke up after they found out that Joey had to live with his dad for a month. after that, they weren't together and just communicated on the low once he came back.

what happened to both?
so Anna went to her senior year of highschool while Joey didn't go because he was in Pennsylvania with mckenna and he dropped out. after that, Anna went to college and joey still stayed with mckenna over the three years that went by.

if you could have an alternative ending what would it be?
honestly, I was going to have someone die but I didn't do that because I didn't want people to be mad. so I ended it like this so I could continue later on with the sequel.

so there is a sequel?
yes, but just not for a long time since I just started school and I don't want to be stressed to update.

what's your tik tok?
lol my tik tok is 'slimy.butt.hairs' i thought it was funny so i made it as my tik tok.

I have videos of myself on there but I'm not that cute. I'm decent I guess, but you can be the judge of that.

what inspired you to write this book?
I read this book about a year ago and it was called Alive by Chandler Baker. it was about a girl, Stella, who got a heart transplant and she didn't go for school for like ten months because of her heart. and so there's this new boy, his name is levi, and he's kinda mysterious I guess and so Stella and Levi end up dating but she finds out the real reason why he's out of the ordinary. it's like a horror-romance book and it's really good.

and so I never read a joey fan fiction with the main character like having a medical problem so I just kinda added my own twist but nothing that happened in Lungs happened in Alive.

who would the characters be in real life?
Anna- Yasmine Nicole, Amandla Stenberg, Avani from tik tok, or Alisha Boe.

Joey- Joey birlem

Jacob- Jacob Sartorius

Haillie- my internet friend, you know who you are:)

Mckenna- Anne Winters (I just imagine her being blond for some reason)

Jeremy- Jeremy from missing, duh!

Zach- Zach Clayton or Ross Butler (Ross is so hot, omg)

Dylan- i just thought of him as jaden hossler for some reason.

Jack- Jack Ryin

Sophia- Sophia birlem

jeshua- jeshua Padilla (he wasn't really in the book until the end but that's who he is)

Sarah and Mathew- i just imagined them mini versions as Anna, but of course different.

Charles- Charles Gitnick, he's an ugly scammer

if you weren't going to name the characters the name that they had now, what would it be?
for Anna, I was thinking on renaming her only because my name is Anna and it's kinda weird when your writing a fan fiction with your name in it. but I started writing the book back in December when I first like started wattpad so I didn't know if you could change the name, if that makes sense. butttt, I was going to name her aliyah but I already had a book with a character named aliyah.

were there any scenes actually happened to you personally that happened in the book?
I'm not quite sure, but I think there is. at the time when i was wring this, I liked this boy and he liked me back but we both never knew, and we always flirted back in forth in math glass. anyways, I think one or two scenes actually were real but the rest I came up with myself.

joey birlem or jacob sartorius?
joey, but that's only because joey is wayyyy cuter than jacob. but I do support both.

have you ever got hate?
No. I mean some people were mad by how the book ended on a cliffhanger but if I ended it on how I actually would've ended people with be PRESSED.

did you think your book would've ever hit 100k reads?
nope. I was thinking on quitting because nobody was reading it and I felt like I was a bad writer. and I even kept a notebook in real life to keep myself organized when I was writing the book.

thank you guys again from the bottom of my heart. i never knew i would be writing this because i never thought i would be this far from writing a book and actually finishing it.

this has to be one of the biggest accomplishments in my life time. i always wanted to finish a story and let other people read it, and it happened. it may not be exactly "published" but this is enough for me.

i cant believe after writing this book for nine months would feel so good. i am so thankful for each and everyone of you who have read this book.

i cant wait to write the sequel in the future for you all and see how the second book will turn out.
