♡ | harder than I thought

Today was the day that Jungkook would leave on the business trip. He had asked multiple times if Taehyung would be okay and the answer was always 'I'll be fine, calm down.' Taeguk was over clingy as he was sure that Jungkook would never come back so getting him to leave the airport was a bigger task than what it should've been.

"Papa when is appa going to come back?" Taeguk asked once again.

"3 days babe." Taehyung said trying to keep his eyes on the road. He didn't like driving so he always made Jungkook do it but there were times where he had no choice.

Once they were home Taeguk ran to the playroom with Jungtae following behind him whilst Taehyung got started on his work.

10 minutes in and Taehyung heard some crying.

"What are you two doing?" He asked when entering then playroom.

"Jungtae hit me!"

"So why is Jungtae crying?" Taehyung asked as he picked up the baby who was more trouble than usual.

"Because I hit him back." Taeguk said as if it was a fact.

"Jungtae we don't hit people that's bad." Taehyung said holding him while Taeguk smiled that he wasn't in trouble.

"And Taeguk if you have a problem you come to papa or another grown up. You're stronger than Jungtae." Taehyung explained while Taeguk's smile dropped.

Taehyung never realised how much of a handful these two were. He expected it to be way easier as they never misbehave and hit each other.

After getting them to make up Taehyung made some dinner and managed them to sit and watch Tad.

"Okay Gukkie go brush your teeth and get changed." Taehyung said while Taeguk nodded.

Jungtae fell asleep very fast but Taeguk refused to sleep before he could say goodnight to appa.

"Appa's not here now come on Taeguk stop running around and go to sleep!" Taehyung said with his voice raised slightly. Taeguk shook his head and carried on playing with every toy he had in that room.

"Gukkie get to bed now!" Taehyung finally shouted only for Taeguk to say nothing.

"I don't want to go to sleep. I want to say goodnight!" Taeguk shouted back while Taehyung sighed.

"Fine don't sleep when Jungtae is screaming at 8 in the morning you'll regret it." Taehyung muttered before leaving the room.

He started watching a random movie until he realised that Taeguk was sitting next to him. "Gukkie for godsake what are you doing here?"

"Waiting for appa to call."

Taehyung sighed before picking up his phone and calling Jungkook.

Hi Tae baby

Hi kookie. I miss you already. Taeguk is being a brat and refuses to sleep

I miss you too honey. Give him the phone

Taehyung gave Taeguk the phone and continued watching.

Hello appa!

Hello little monkey. Why are you being naughty for?

I'm not. I wanted to say goodnight

That's nice of you but you're going to make papa sad do you want that?

So are you going to be good because I've seen this awesome teddy bear here and if you aren't good, I'll give it to Jungtae

No no no I'll be good,  goodnight

Goodnight give the phone to papa please.

Taehyung hummed into the phone too tired to say anything.

You okay?

Yea just tired

Go get some sleep love goodnight
