"Y/N, you did a great job today again," Mr. Toshinori was saying to her as she came out of the girls locker room. His blonde hair had been tied back and she couldn't help but notice that all the clothes he wore were a bit baggy on him.

"Thank you, Mr. Toshinori." She smiled at him as she waited for her blonde coworker to finish getting change. Kaminari had asked her if she wanted to join him for a bite to eat. He said he was going to meet up with Midoriya and Uraraka.

Y/N knew Chisaki wasn't going to be home tonight. Surprisingly, after Chisaki had grilled her about her time with Rei, he was satisfied when she told him her name and a few other things, nothing too detailed.

She had been expecting a slap across the face; but instead, Chisaki had smiled. It had shocked her so much she wondered if she'd been dreaming. He'd simply tossed her a list of things he needed her to buy for groceries, and he let her know he wouldn't be back until Friday. He had some sort of business trip he had to attend to. He'd left right after. Y/N had been delighted.

So, even if it was past nine at night, she could go out with some of her friends without having to worry about the time. She wondered how she was going to make her 8 am tomorrow—but she would leave those pestering thoughts for later.

"Ready?" Kaminari winked as he walked out of the boys locker room. His jeans were held up by a belt, and one of his hands was deep into his black hoodie's pocket while they other waved at her. "Let's go."

"Okay," Y/N nodded. She turned to look at Mr. Toshinori. "Have a good night, sir."

"You too, don't stay out too late guys!"

...

Uraraka beamed at Y/N from a table outside a small convenience store. Midoriya was beside her with a meat bun in his hands. Y/N found it cute that their color coordination for their outfits matched one another's. They were both wearing light green long sleeves that made their complexion stand out even more under the street lights.

"About time you guys!" Uraraka greeted.

"Sorry," Kaminari scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "The dinner rush was busier than usual."

"Even if it's a Thursday, One for All never seizes to surprise me over how popular it is." Uraraka chuckled as they all took a seat at the table.

"We bought snacks for everyone!" Midoriya announced as he spread out an array of multi colored bags and packages.

Y/N never had money of her own for things like snacks. She always followed Chisaki's grocery shopping lists to a T. She never went over the amount of money he gave her, and she never bought anything for herself. Even when she was in different foster homes, she never had the luxury of buying chocolate bars, snacks or sweets.

Her eyes twinkled in excitement as she watched Midoriya hand her a red box with a chocolate design drawn on it.

"Help yourself," he told her. "We try to do this once a week—everyone gets together and just hangs out. Sadly, Iida won't be able to join us today. He's helping his brother at their family business."

"Thank you," Y/N gratefully took the snack.

"Kirishima said he'll be here later—whenever he finds out where Bakugo hid," Uraraka laughed. "Bakugo tries to act all tough, but I'm sure he enjoys these gatherings like all of us."

"We're all used to Bakugo's tantrums," Kaminari bantered as he ripped into a white paper bag. He brought out two meat buns and offered one to Y/N. She took it and couldn't help but admire how beautiful and delicious it looked. It was hot in the palm of her hands.
