The blaring sound of a phone going off woke her up. Y/N opened her eyes, only to be greeted by darkness. She tried sitting up, but something heavy held her down.

Shouto was hugging her close, his arm around her waist, and his head in between her breasts. He was snoring lightly. Her face flushed and her heart started beating faster as the memories of earlier all resurfaced and hit her at once. Had she really slept with Shouto? Had she really been in his arms? He'd been so gentle with her.

She leaned closer and kissed him tenderly on the lips. He mumbled something incoherent and squeezed her closer. Y/N chuckled and ran her fingers down his cheeks softly. It was probably going to be the last time she could touch him. He'd told her that he didn't want to put her in danger, so they couldn't have a real relationship.

Realization hit her so hard, that she almost started crying. She knew what she'd been getting herself into. She and Shouto couldn't be anything. She pushed the thought out of her head. She couldn't do that to Shouto. Even if she couldn't be with him. She wanted to be his friend.

Especially, if he was going to keep going through situations like the one today. He was going to need someone to vent to sooner or later. Y/N knew what if felt like keeping things stored away until you couldn't any longer and they all just exploded out all at once.

The sound of her phone going off again caught her attention. Slowly, making sure he didn't wake up, Y/N slipped out bed; to almost to fall on her face when she felt the pain in her legs and in between them. She cursed under breath as she staggered over to the piles of scattered clothes and threw on her clothes. She reached into her pant pockets to find her device.

Y/N winced when she saw she had over fifteen missed calls and twenty unread messages.

From: Midoriya-Kun

10:30: Are you with Todoroki-kun?

10:38: I keep calling you both, but both your phones keep going to voicemail. Please call back

10:57: I'm really starting to worry

11:59: I hope everything is okay

02:37: No one has heard from you guys, we really just want to know if you guys are okay.

From: Kaminari

01:41: Hey, where r u? I wanted to c if u could help me with some homework b4 work

01:45: I just talked to Midoriya. Said he can't get in thought with you or Todoroki. what happened?

01:53: okay, Y/N, what's going on? We can't get ahold of you or Todoroki

02:35: are u ok? Please call back when you read this

03:45: you aren't showing up for your shift, so I tried to make up an excuse for you. Toshinori wasn't too happy

03:48: you owe me big time when you see this

12:15: Deku-kun told me he can't get ahold of you or Todoroki, is everything okay?

01:57: really starting to worry now

04:36: Okay, Y/N. We really are starting to think something happened to you guys.

Y/N cursed when she realized it was late in the evening, 5:34 PM. How could she have slept for that long? She'd even missed her shift at work. In the darkness, she couldn't really tell what time it was, so she reached for the curtains and opened them slightly so the rays of the sun seeped in. The sun was starting to set and she could feel the coolness of the window against her palm as she touched the surface. It was getting colder every night now, and she could feel it permeate through the glass.
