It had been weeks since she'd last heard from Chisaki, and that simply wasn't good news to her anymore. It made her become aware of everything around her. It made her worried that he might jump out at any moment.

Ever since he left the note behind letting her know to stop visiting Rei, she hadn't had any form of contact with him. She'd gone back to work, but she also hadn't seen Dabi, which she wasn't sure if to be thankful or even more worried.

Y/N had dropped by on Monday to check on the siblings at the warehouse, but things only kept looking grimmer. Their treatment from the guards only became worse. They kept being mistreated and underfed.

Y/N had been supplying them with false hope, letting them know she was coming up with a plan, but in reality she was being cruel to them. She didn't have a single clue on where to start. She didn't have a plan or the power to get them out.

The only thing that made her feel better was that Natsuo's ankle seemed to be healing. A week or two and he might be able to get on his feet again.

"When are you supposed to come back to One For All, Y/N?" Kaminari's voice brought her back from her thoughts. He was in his One For All uniform with a familiar black tray in his hands.

"I have about another week at All Might's and then I'll be back," she informed him.

"Really? That's great! It's been dull since you left."

Y/N chuckled. "It's not like I was that much of an entertainment."

"At least you'd be closer to home now," Uraraka imputed. "And we could visit you while you work."

"It'll be like the good old days," Midoriya smiled softly.

"You make it sound like we haven't hung out like this in years," Y/N added.

"We actually haven't seen each other since school let out," Kaminari confessed with a small pout. "I get lonely working every day without you."

"I'll be back before you know it," she promised him with a small smile.

"But you couldn't just be working this whole time," Uraraka guesser. "Haven't you done anything else?"

Y/N tried not to glance at Shouto. "I've mostly stayed home and binged watched shows on Netflix. Most of them cooking shows."

"What?" Uraraka sat forward in her seat. "I love those! Next time come over so we can watch them together."

"For sure," Y/N agreed happily.

"Side note," Kaminari reached into his pants and took out a note. "One of the customers from the other day came by and said you two were friends?"

Y/N took the note. "Did he tell you who he was?"

Kaminari scratched his cheek uncomfortably. "He mentioned that he might be your lover."

"What?" Everyone at the table roared, even Y/N herself as she quickly opened the note. She could feel Shouto's eyes on her.

I'll see you soon, sweetheart.

Y/N didn't need a name to know who'd left the note behind. She turned to Shouto, her eyes wide. One look at her expression and he knew something was wrong.

"May I see the note?" he asked her.

Y/N handed it over to him. Shouto's mismatched eyes narrowed as he read the messy scribble. He turned to Kaminari. "Can you describe the person who gave you this?"
