Jyrus Oneshots - Part I (COMPLETED)

During Cyrus' time of need, he finds out who his real best friend is.

Cyrus was really happy with how his life was going. He was in a happy relationship with TJ, which had become official the day before, and everyone was very supportive of him.

He was going to meet TJ by the swings, their usual meeting place. When he arrived, he saw TJ looking at the ground, something was obviously on his mind.

Cyrus: Are you okay TJ?

TJ: Yes, I'm fine.

Cyrus: Are you su--

TJ: I said I'm fine!

Cyrus: Okay calm down!

TJ: Don't tell me what to do!

Cyrus: What's your problem? We love each other!

TJ: No we don't, I only did this for a bet.

All of a sudden Cyrus' mood changed from happy to heartbroken. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

Cyrus: What do you mean?

TJ: I made a bet with the rest of the basketball team that I could ask you out!

Cyrus: How could you do that to me?

TJ: You are nothing more than an underdog, you will go with anyone because your scared of being alone!

Poor Cyrus was on the verge of tears, and he hated the fact that he had been so naive. He made a decision from that point on that he would be more careful before agreeing to be in a relationship.

Cyrus; Th-that's not true!

TJ: No one will ever truly love you, you are too clingy and weak!

Cyrus: I'm not weak!

TJ: Yes you are, and you are by far the most annoying person in the world, you better stay the hell away from me!

TJ began to back Cyrus against a wall, but just before he got close to him, someone stood in front of Cyrus, like a human shield. It didn't take him long to work out that it was none other than Jonah. He almost towered over Cyrus' smaller figure.

Jonah: Hey! Don't you ever speak to Cyrus like that!

TJ: Stay out of this Beck! It's none of your business!

Jonah: If you so much as lay a finger on Cyrus, I will make you pay!

TJ: Yeah right, you're all talk, you'd never do anything to me!

Jonah: Believe it Kippen, I won't let you hurt him anymore!

TJ: You're not worth my time!

TJ walked away and Cyrus was in complete shock at what had happened. Jonah turned around to face him and without a second's hesitation, pulled Cyrus in for a hug.

Jonah: Are you okay Cy-guy?

Cyrus: I am now, thank you JoJo.

As Jonah pulled away, he put his hands on Cyrus' shoulders. He wanted to offer comfort and reassurance for his best friend.

Jonah: I hope you know not everyone is like that.

Cyrus: I'm not so sure.

Jonah: Listen to me, there is someone out there who will love you for who you are.

Cyrus: Do you really think so?

Jonah: Of course! You're the nicest person I know, and I bet lots of guys would love to date you.

Speaking to Jonah had made Cyrus completely forget about TJ and how he had been treated. He was about to speak again when Buffy and Andi arrived.

Buffy: We saw what happened

Andi: Are you okay Cyrus?

Cyrus: I feel okay now that Jonah is here.

Buffy: You know, I'm proud of you Jonah.

Andi: You're such a good guy, and you proved that you care which is more than TJ ever did.

Jonah: Well, I could give TJ more of my mind sometimes.

Cyrus: You can if you like.

Jonah: I was going to stop you from going out with him, I never liked him.

Cyrus: Why didn't you?

Jonah: Because you were happy with him, and as much as I hated it, if he really made you that happy the I was happy for you.

Cyrus: Could you be any more perfect.

Jonah: I'm not that perfect *blushes*.

Cyrus: You are to me.

Jonah: I'll never be as perfect as you.

Cyrus decided that it was his turn to hug Jonah, prompting lots of "awws" from Andi and Buffy. It had been difficult, but Jonah had made Cyrus' day much better. He wanted Jonah to be his boyfriend, but as he knew that would probably not happen, Cyrus was grateful to have such a close friendship with Jonah.

Felt like exploring Jyrus as a friendship for this oneshot, just to vary the chapters a little bit.
