It Could Be Worse - Part 3

Cyrus looks after Jonah whilst he recovers. TJ pays them a visit to check up on Jonah and they all clear the air.

It had been two days since Jonah's accident, and he had been allowed to go home. His parents were away on business, so true to his word, Cyrus agreed to look after him.

Jonah was not worried about his injury, as having Cyrus in his life was enough to ease any pain and discomfort. He lay on the couch, watching the TV, whilst Cyrus had made him a snack.

Cyrus: Here you go Jo Lamajama.

Jonah: Thanks Cy-guy.

Cyrus: How's your leg?

Jonah: It's okay, although I wish I could play ultimate again.

Cyrus: Take it easy, and that's by order of Dr Cyrus.

Jonah: Dr Cyrus? I like that, it works!

The boys giggled, but they were distracted by a knock at the door. As Cyrus answered, he saw TJ in front of him.

TJ: Hey.

Cyrus: Hello, you okay?

TJ: Yes, can I come in?

Cyrus: Of course.

TJ followed Cyrus into the lounge, and when he saw Jonah he smiled. It had confirmed that Cyrus and Jonah were so happy together, and he was glad he broke up with Cyrus.

TJ: How are you?

Jonah: I'm good, how about you?

TJ: I'm great. To be honest, I don't want to be in a relationship now.

Jonah: Really?

TJ: I want to focus on basketball, and moreover, I think you love Cyrus more than I did.

Jonah: Well, what can I say? He is a total cutie!

Cyrus: Oh you!

TJ: And also, Cyrus loves you so everything worked out well.

Cyrus: Yes it did.

Jonah: I couldn't be happier.

TJ looked at the two boys, who were now snuggled up on the sofa. His feelings for Cyrus had faded completely, which made it easier.

Jonah: Oh and TJ?

TJ: Yes Jonah?

Jonah: Thanks.

TJ: What for?

Jonah: Letting me have a chance.

TJ: That's cool dude, it was meant to be.

Cyrus: I'm glad that the two guys I've ever been out with are so nice.

Jonah: Not as nice as you.

TJ: Haha! Either way, I've gotta go to basketball practice, see you later!

Cyrus: Bye!

Jonah: Later!

After TJ left, Cyrus looked at Jonah and saw that famous, signature smile. He loved when Jonah smiled because it made his dimples appear.

Cyrus: You're happy.

Jonah: I am, and that's because of you.

Cyrus: After all this time crushing on you, I never imagined you'd like me.

Jonah: Are you putting yourself down again?

Cyrus: N-no!

Jonah: Yes you are, and you must stop doing that, by order of Professor Jonah.

Cyrus: Professor Jonah?

Jonah: What? It was the first name I could come up with!

Cyrus: Well, you are really smart, and considerate, so you are as good as a professor to me.

Jonah: Stop being cute!

Cyrus: Sure, JoJo.

Jonah: But cutie-Cy...

Cyrus: Now who's being cute? *laughs*.

Jonah couldn't take his eyes off of Cyrus, staring continually at his face. He pulled Cyrus even closer and as they held each other, Jonah felt his boyfriend's heartbeat.

Jonah: Your heart is beating fast!

Cyrus: When I'm with you that happens.

Jonah: Why?

Cyrus: Because I get nervous that I'll say something silly.

Jonah: But you aren't stupid, and you've never said anything silly.

Cyrus: That's not the point, I could always lose control.

Jonah: Stop believing that. If anything I worry about what I do around you.

Cyrus: You do?

Jonah: I always do, because every time I've been with someone in the past, I've said something stupid and it's gone wrong.

Cyrus saw Jonah's eyes, they were genuine and he was getting lost in them. Jonah clicked his fingers as he saw Cyrus zone out.

Cyrus: Sorry, but I know you won't say anything stupid.

Jonah: I don't want to lose you, now that we have each other.

Cyrus: We will always be together, it was meant to be.

Jonah: You know, you're right.

Cyrus: I'm always right.

Jonah: Yes, you are!

Jonah planted a soft kiss on Cyrus' forehead, not wanting to push his boyfriend too far.

Cyrus: Thank you, but...

Cyrus on the other hand wanted a proper kiss, so he pressed his lips together with Jonah's and they shared a long kiss. Cyrus had never kissed TJ, but he didn't think anything would compare to kissing Jonah.

Cyrus: Wow, I liked that.

Jonah: Me too.

Cyrus: I can't tell you how much I love you.

Jonah: Aww, I love you too, my boy.

The rest of the day was relaxing and they really enjoyed each other's company. Now that they were together, Jonah believed that he would recover quicker, although Cyrus was enjoying looking after him, and didn't want it to end.
