Random Roses - Part 2

The girls try and convince Cyrus of who was sending him roses, and he doesn't believe it at first. They talk to the suspect, and find out for sure. Told from Cyrus' POV.

Cyrus POV

I was really excited for what the girls were going to say, I just hoped they were right.

Buffy: Okay, so I want you to look at the notes.

Me: What about them?

Buffy: Look at them closely, see if you notice anything

Andi and I looked at the notes, in a state of pure confusion. I'm usually good at spotting clues, but this truly had me thinking.

"Do you want to my my valentine"

"On this day, I want you to be mine"

"Can't you tell how much I love you?"

"I will never stop loving you Cyrus"

"Oh Cyrus please give me your heart"

"Understand me, you're my everything"

"So now you have all of the roses, what do you say? Do you love me?"

We were still at a loss, until Buffy finally pointed out what she had spotted.

Buffy: You still don't see it?

Me: No!

Buffy: Look at the first letter on each note.

Andi: Okay, what are we getting from that.

Buffy: Ugh! It spells the word DOCIOUS!

I was really shocked with that discovery, my face must have been a picture. I realised at that point who it might be.

Me: Wait, so Jonah did this?

Andi: Hang on, think about it Cyrus, we haven't seen him all day.

Me: You're right, we haven't.

Buffy: Let's go and find him, I'm sure you want closure, right?

Me: Absolutely yes!

Getting ready to go, I heard a small thump on the ground. I looked by the window and saw that Frisbee had been thrown through, and it also had a note attached.

"This is the final clue, I need you Cyrus, please go out with me"

There was nothing to argue anymore, it was definitely Jonah, and I jumped excitedly, wanting to see him as soon as possible.

I walked over to Jonah's house with the girls, intent on getting the truth. I knocked on the door hesitantly, and when he opened it, I saw his face light up.

Jonah: Cy-guy!

Me: JoJo!

Jonah: Come in.

Me: Okay.

We entered his house with the girls following close behind. I didn't want to give away to much to him, so I played my cards close to my chest.

Me: So, I received a lot of roses today.

Jonah: Oh really?

Me: Yes, it was a very sweet gesture. I'll have to thank TJ.

My eyes were unable to leave his face. His beaming smile turned to a look of sadness. This sort of confirmed it must be him, removing the last bit of doubt I had.

Jonah: Why?

Me: Well it's obviously from him isn't it?

Jonah: B-but... I... How do you know that?

Me: I don't really know anyone else who would.

Jonah: Oh, well...

Okay, perhaps that was a little mean, but I wanted to wait for the right moment to let Jonah know that I knew it was him.

Me: Then again, TJ wasn't really interested, when he handed me one of the roses.

Jonah: So, do you know who did this or not?

Me: Yes Jonah, and to answer your question.

I walked so that I was stood right in front of him. Our faces were just a couple of inches apart. I whispered my next sentence.

Me: I know it's you.

The look of relief on Jonah's face made me laugh slightly. I had never known that he ever felt like this about me.

Jonah: And um... how do you feel about it Cutie... I mean Cy-guy *blushes*.

Me: I love you JoJo, I have always wanted this, but I was scared to tell you.

His face fell a little bit again with my admission. He pulled me in for a hug and he gripped me like he never wanted to let go.

Jonah: I'm sorry, you should never feel like you can't talk to me. I'm your...

Jonah hesitated, causing me to worry a little bit. I was just hoping that he wasn't having second thoughts.

Me: My what?

Jonah: Boyfriend?

Me: Yes! You are my boyfriend, and I am so touched that you went to so much effort.

Jonah: I'm glad dude.

Me: But I didn't get anything for you.

Jonah: That's okay, as long as I can do this.

Me: Do what?

I was taken by surprise as Jonah pushed his lips against mine. He was gentle and careful, and I felt myself go weak at the knees. My, this guy was amazing.

Jonah: I've always wanted to do that.

Me: This is the best valentine's day ever!

Andi: Aww, you make such an adorable couple.

Buffy: I'm shocked at the fact this finally happened.

Me: What do you mean finally?

Buffy: Andi and I have both known how much you and Jonah like each other.

Andi: We wanted you to be together, and now that you are, lots of people are going to be happy.

Jonah: Not as happy as me!

Me: Oh you *playfully punching Jonah's arm*.

That evening, with the agreement of my parents, we all stayed with Jonah. It was nice to think that after so much time of being single, I was in a relationship, and a loving one at that.

We watched a movie, and Jonah was lying down on his sofa. After wondering what to do, I settled on lying on top of him. He was very comfy, and we just hugged.

Jonah: I love you Cy-guy, and I'm yours forever.

Me: I love you to Jo-nay!

I become embarrassed by that nickname I gave him, but that changed when Jonah looked fondly at me. As I lay in his arms, I felt so protected, so much that I wanted to remain like that.

Jonah: You are so adorable.

Me: And you are so cuddly!

Andi: We're still here you know!

Buffy: But we wouldn't want to miss this!

We all laughed at the girls' comments. When w fell asleep, I actually managed to get a full night's rest, for the first time in recent memory. I knew how lucky I was, as lots of people wanted to go out with Jonah. However, they would all be disappointed as Jonah loved me, and I loved Jonah.
