Jyrus Oneshots - Part I (COMPLETED)

Unexpected

This is the third Jasher oneshot.

After doing an interview for Andi Mack, Asher and Joshua make some discoveries about one another.

Asher and Joshua were excited about an interview they were going to be doing. It would be the first time they were going to be interviewed together, without Peyton or Sofia.

They arrived at the studio early, and were looking forward to getting started. As they waited for the interviewer to arrived, they made small talk.

Joshua: So, it feels a little strange without the girls, doesn't it?

Asher: Yeah dude, but it'll be so cool!

Joshua: There are few questions I hope they don't ask.

Asher: Like what?

Joshua: I don't want to be asked about relationships on the show.

Asher: Isn't that the main focus though? We're going to be asked about all the ships.

Joshua: That's not what I meant.

Asher: What do you mean then?

Joshua: We'll get asked if we're dating our co-stars.

He watched as Asher laughed a little at his nervousness. He didn't know why it bothered Joshua so much, but he was determined to find out.

Asher: Why is that a problem?

Joshua: Because no one will believe that none of us are going out.

Asher: People will accept anything as fact, I'm not worried.

That wasn't enough for Joshua, who felt that there were many things that no one knew about him, that he wasn't ready for people to know.

Joshua: I hate that people make assumptions about me.

Asher: I know what you mean, but it'll be cool. Try not to think about what other people think, I never do.

They were interrupted by the interviewer, who chose to join them at this point. Fortunately, they were in a room with no live audience.

Interviewer: So, welcome guys.

Asher: Thanks.

Joshua: Great to be here.

Interviewer: What can we expect from this season of Andi Mack?

Joshua: A lot of twist and turns.

Asher: As usual, lots of unexpected events.

Joshua knew that there was another question coming up, one that he didn't want to answer, because it would reveal too much, in more ways than one.

Interviewer: So, is Jyrus finished for good, or will something happen for them?

Joshua: Um... well...

Asher: We can't really tell you.

Interviewer: Lot of fans think you are cute together.

Both boys blushed, but they weren't sure of how to answer that statement, so they decided to not reply.

The rest of the interview was frankly boring, but no less uncomfortable. Joshua was relieved when it was over. Asher was not sure what was happening, as he had never seen Joshua like this before.

They walked out of the building and one thing Asher noticed was that Joshua was very quiet, which immediately worried him.

Asher: Joshua, dude, what's wrong?
