A sequel to "Reunited by Chance".

Cyrus moves in with Jonah, causing one of them to have a different look at their relationship.

Cyrus had been back to Utah to collect all of his things. He was feeling re-energised since reuniting with Jonah. He didn't feel alone anymore, which was a change from the last few years.

They had organised the apartment so that Cyrus could have his own space. Jonah wanted him to feel as welcome as possible.

Following their reunion, Jonah had been asking a lot of questions. He had thought about why Cyrus had ever liked him. Looking back, he felt like he had been taunting Cyrus by dating Andi and Amber.

Jonah: Cyrus, I've been horrible to you.

Cyrus: I don't know what you're talking about, Jonah.

Jonah: All of that time in middle school, you liked me and was so blind.

Cyrus: It's fine.

Jonah: No, it's not. I thought I was being a good friend.

Cyrus sighed, he understood exactly where Jonah was coming from, but he also felt that Jonah was beating himself up too much.

Cyrus: You have always been a good friend to be.

Jonah: You think?

Cyrus: Jonah, you gave me so much confidence. You made me believe in myself when I felt like I couldn't do many things.

Jonah: I feel like such a fool. I want to make it up to you.

Cyrus: That's not necessary, but if you want, you could take me out for dinner tonight.

Jonah thought about it for a few seconds, and smiled. He knew that Cyrus liked hanging out, so this would be a nice opportunity that he couldn't let slip.

Jonah: Yes, we can do that.

Cyrus: Cool bro!

Jonah: Remember that you can be yourself, don't try and feel like you have to fit in.

Cyrus: Okay, sounds wonderful.

Jonah was determined to make Cyrus very happy. As he walked into his bedroom, he looked back at Cyrus, and felt a positive vibe.

They got ready to go out, and Cyrus wanted to look really good. Even though it wasn't a date, he felt Jonah deserved to see him at his best.

Cyrus had a blue suit, very similar to the one at his Bash Mitzvah, which he knew Jonah would like. Jonah had, after all, helped Cyrus to choose the original one.

Meanwhile Jonah chose a pair of black slacks with a green shirt and black leather jacket. When he saw what Cyrus was wearing, it brought back many memories.

Jonah: Woah, you look stunning dude!

Cyrus: Thanks, you look amazing.

Jonah: Shall we go?

Cyrus: For sure!

Jonah walked with Cyrus to a restaurant in the city. Every so often, Cyrus kept stealing glances at Jonah, which was both cute but confusing.

They arrived and were escorted to a table by a waiter. They ordered their food and drink, and started talking again.

Cyrus: This is a nice place! Do you come here often?

Jonah: I only ever came here with my ex girlfriend. It happened once and then we broke up.

Cyrus: Oh... sorry.

Jonah: It's fine, I get to spend some time with my vest friend!

Cyrus blushed almost uncontrollably from Jonah's last statement. He was feeling his heart go berserk as the other guy talked.

Cyrus: You know, I missed you so much Jonah.

Jonah: And I missed you to Cyrus.

Cyrus: But when you left, I was alone. I had no other friends as everyone went there separate ways.

Jonah: I know how you feel, I love what I do, but it's not as fun on my own.

Cyrus: I guess this was supposed to happen. Fate has a funny way of bringing people together.

Jonah: You always have such a nice way with words.

Their meals arrived soon after and once they had finished eating. Cyrus had a bit of food on his cheek. Jonah reached over and wiped it off with a napkin.

Jonah: Sorry, you just had a little something.

Cyrus: That's fine, you still look out for me.

Jonah: Well, love makes you do anything.

Jonah went red in the face realising what he had said. He had tried to work out his feelings for Cyrus, and now knew exactly what he wanted.

Cyrus: You... love me?

Jonah: There's no point denying it anymore. I love you Cyrus Goodman. When we left high school there was something missing, and that was you.

Cyrus: I thought I was the one who called you by first and last name.

Jonah: And when you do it, it's cute.

Cyrus: It's nice to hear you say my full name... And I love you too Jonah Beck!

Jonah: Let's head back to the apartment.

Cyrus: Okay.

As they walked back, Jonah casually slipped his hand into Cyrus'. It felt so right and was all the proof he needed to know he loved Cyrus more than anything. It made both of them feel safe, feel needed and feel secure.

Once Cyrus had entered Jonah' apartment, he closed the door and was surprised by how quickly Jonah had grabbed him and their lips were pushed together. In Jonah's mind, it set of a fireworks display, and he couldn't think about anyone other than Cyrus.

Jonah: Oh my... Why did that take so long?

Cyrus: It doesn't matter! Don't you see? We're supposed to be together.

Jonah: You're my soulmate Cy.

Cyrus: Jo, I always knew and I'm glad now you know too.

Jonah put the TV on and sat down on the couch. He signalled for Cyrus to join, and once again Cyrus leaned onto Jonah's leg. The only difference being that there was no awkwardness this time.

Cyrus: Jonah, I want to be with you forever.

Jonah: And I want to be by your side Cyrus, I never want to be away from you.

Cyrus: You mean everything to me, babe.

Jonah: You're my world, cutie.

Cyrus and Jonah snuggled up together for the rest of the evening. They no longer felt lonely, they felt at one with themselves and that made both of them extremely proud.
