Cyrus plans to come out to Jonah at the park, but is unaware that Andi and Buffy are listening

It was going to happen. Cyrus had been putting this off for many months, but today was the day when he would finally come out to his best friend.

He was tired of lying to Jonah about everything, and as the girls already knew, Jonah was his only friend who didn't know.

The occasion had to be casual, Cyrus required that, so he arranged to meet up with Jonah at the park. As they went their quite regularly, he knew this wouldn't make Jonah suspicious.

Meanwhile, Andi and Buffy were hanging out at Buffy's house. They had nothing planned, but didn't want to stay in all day.

Buffy: Ugh... I'm so bored.

Andi: Why don't we go to the park? It's a lovely day.

Buffy: That sounds like a good idea.

Andi: Great, let's go!

As the girls walked over to the park, they enjoyed allowing the breeze to flow around them. It was very pleasant. Upon their arrival, they noticed Cyrus and Jonah on a bench.

Andi: Looks like the boys are already here. Let's join them!

As her friend started walking towards the boys, Buffy saw that Cyrus was looking at Jonah with a serious expression on his face. She realised that they must be having a private conversation, and it would be rude to interrupt them.

Buffy: Wait! I think we should leave them alone.

Andi: Why?

Buffy: Looks like they're having a serious talk about something.

Andi: I guess you're right.

Buffy: I'm glad you agree.

Just as Buffy was about to walk away, Andi grabbed her by the hand and had a slightly mischievous look on her face.

Andi: Can we at least listen in?

Buffy: No! That's not cool.

Andi: *rolls eyes* Oh come on! I know you want to hear this.

Buffy: *sighs* Fine!

The girls hid behind a tree that was very close to where the boys were. It was just the right distance for them to hear what the conversation was about.

Oblivious to this, Cyrus knew that he was about to tell Jonah something that could make their relationship better or worse.

Jonah: What's up then Cyrus?

Cyrus: Well Jonah, this is one of the most difficult things I've had to say.

Jonah: Relax dude, take your time.

Cyrus: Okay, give me a second.

Taking a few breaths to calm himself down, Cyrus looked at the ground before returning his gaze to Jonah. He started shaking slightly, and Jonah was getting increasingly concerned.

Jonah: Please, tell me.

Cyrus: I've told the girls this before, but now I want to tell you.

Andi and Buffy went wide eyed, as the enormity of this situation was sinking in. They knew exactly what Cyrus was planning.

Andi: OMG, is he going to...

Buffy: Yes he is! Good for him!

Back with the boys, the mood was tense. Cyrus knew that Jonah had been a supportive friend and he didn't want to give that up.
