Coming Out Together

The conclusion of the Coming Out series of oneshots, following "Coming Out to JB" and "Coming Out to Good-man".

Cyrus and Jonah had become the most loyal and dedicated friends there had ever been. They had become increasingly protective of each other, and kept their promise to get through things together.

It was now at the point where bullies didn't get to them anymore. Cyrus and Jonah walked proudly wherever they were, and knew that they were not going to go through anything on their own.

Jonah had gone over to Cyrus' house after school, and they were surprised by the amount of positive attention they had been getting individually. Jonah was called cool and Cyrus was called cute.

They were doing some homework together when Jonah changed the subject. There was no need for either to keep secrets from the other.

Jonah: Can you believe how great it's been recently?

Cyrus: I know right? We've had so much support, even with a few idiots being mean.

Jonah: And it's great that we now that we are honest with each other.

Cyrus: Y-yeah! *chuckles nervously*.

There was one thing that Cyrus had never discussed with Jonah. He wasn't sure if he should reveal it, but Cyrus knew that he would have to.

Jonah: Is something up?

Cyrus: The sky?

Jonah: Haha, good one! *laughs*

Cyrus: Honestly, there is something that I want to discuss with you.

Jonah: Cool bro, I'm intrigued.

When Jonah smiled, Cyrus could feel himself warming up and knew that he was staring at the other boy with heart eyes.

Cyrus: You remember when I came out, and you asked me if I knew any nice guys?

Jonah: Yes, have you got your eyes on anyone?

Cyrus: I've had my eyes on one guy in particular for a long time.

Jonah: Ooh, I wonder who it is. Can I guess?

Cyrus: Um... sure...

Cyrus wasn't entirely confident that it would be a good idea to let Jonah guess, but he wondered what Jonah thought.

Jonah: Is it Marty?

Cyrus: No...

Jonah: Walker?

Cyrus: Nope...

Jonah: TJ...

Cyrus: Nah...

Jonah: I don't know any other dudes.

That statement made Cyrus chuckle a bit, he knew Jonah could be oblivious, but he thought that despite that, his friend would've worked it out.

Cyrus: Think about it, you know the guy so well.

Jonah: I do?

Cyrus: OMG you are really oblivious Jonah! *laughs playfully*.

Jonah: Cyrus, who is it? *sighs*

Cyrus: It's a member of the Space Otters team.

Jonah: Oh! It's Gus isn't it?

Cyrus thought that Jonah's genuine lack of realisation was cute, but he was not going to wait any longer.

Cyrus: No! It's you Jonah Babona!

Jonah looked oblivious for a second, before a look of shock took over his face. He looked at Cyrus as he smiled, which resulted in a slight redness in Jonah's cheeks.

Jonah: You... Cy... like me?

Cyrus: Yes, and I never thought I would tell you.

Jonah: I'm glad you did.

Cyrus: Just being honest, but I know you won't like me in that--

Jonah: I do like you!

Cyrus: Really?

Jonah: Very really!

After a moment where they took in what was being said, Jonah pulled Cyrus close and looked into his eyes. Everything around them went to darkness, they only saw one another.

Jonah: I believe in destiny Cyrus. Do you?

Cyrus: I do believe Jonah.

Jonah: It is our destiny to be together. Will you be mine?

Cyrus: Yes, I want to be yours. Only yours...

Jonah felt loved for the first time in his life. Not for being "The Jonah Beck", but for being Jonah the human being who is completely normal.

Jonah: Shall we tell the girls.

Cyrus: Sure! Let's video call them from my computer.

Jonah: Docious!

The boys went upstairs to Cyrus' bedroom and called Buffy and Andi. They both answered at the same time.

Buffy: Hey guys!

Andi: You look happy!

Jonah: We want to talk to you about something.

Cyrus: Something very, very special.

Andi: Ooh, what is it?

Jonah: We're going out!

Cyrus: And we're so happy.

Buffy: Ahh! Why did this take so long?

Andi: You took your time.

Cyrus: Well, what can I say?

Jonah: We didn't want to rush.

Buffy: I'm so jealous!

Andi: Me too, now we are the third wheels!

Jonah: But, you are okay with us, right?

Buffy: Of course we are!

Cyrus: That means so much.

Andi: Good for you guys! Either way, I gotta clean my room.

Buffy: And I'm meeting for basketball practice.

Jonah: See you girls.

Cyrus: Have fun.

Andi: Bye guys we love you.

Buffy: We'll never stop loving you.

After the voice call was finished, Jonah took Cyrus by surprise by lovingly bringing Cyrus close and kissing him lightly. His mind went wild when Cyrus kissed back. When the kiss was over, Cyrus smiled.

Cyrus: I really adore you, my dear boyfriend.

Jonah: Aww, I wuv you too cutie.

Cyrus: Stop that! *blushes*.

Jonah: But you are just so cute, which I like most about you!

Cyrus: In that case, I wuv you too!

They laughed before going back to their homework. So much had happened in two weeks and it had been very busy, although they didn't mind, it was all about spending time together.

I wanted to do a trilogy, and this was what I came up with.
