Cyrus agrees to go skateboarding with Jonah again, but this time Jonah ensures that he teaches Cyrus everything before letting him skate alone.

It had been a week since Cyrus had been in the hospital. He was still hyped about the fact that he had tried to face his fears. It had relaxed him to the point where he was more willing to try new things without being scared first.

Cyrus sat in the Spoon on his own, knowing that Buffy had to help Andi tidy up her house for an upcoming family event. He didn't mind, as it gave him a bit of time where he could chill and not think about anything.

Jonah was looking for Cyrus that morning. He was feeling so guilty for allowing Cyrus to get hurt, and wanted to try again. Skateboard buddies or not, he wanted to at least show Cyrus that he can be a great friend.

After looking for his friend in a lot of different locations, Jonah remembered that Cyrus was near enough always at the Spoon, which is where he would go. Upon entering, Jonah immediately spotted Cyrus in a booth.

Jonah: Cyrus!

Cyrus: Hey Jonah!

Jonah: You up to much today?

Cyrus: No bro, I'm taking the day as it happens.

Jonah: Oh...

Jonah thought that it meant Cyrus wouldn't want to hang out with. Just as he was about to turn around and leave, Cyrus responded.

Cyrus: Did you have something in mind?

Jonah: I was wondering if you wanted to go skateboarding again? This time, I'll teach you to stop before I let you go.

Cyrus: Hmm.. Okay! Sounds like fun to me!

Jonah: Docious! You ready?

Cyrus: Ready as I'll ever be!

They walked out of the spoon and towards the skate park, located a few blocks away. There was no one else around, so they could use all of the park.

Jonah: To start with, I'm going to teach you how to stop!

Cyrus: Yes, that would be a good idea! *chuckles*

After Jonah demonstrated his technique to Cyrus, he stepped back to let his friend try. Cyrus mastered it very quickly, which was a relief for Jonah. After a couple of successful attempts, Jonah was confident that Cyrus wouldn't get injured again.

Jonah: You're getting really good.

Cyrus: Thanks, so what next.

Jonah: Let's just try skateboarding around the flat parts of the skate park, so you can learn balance.

Cyrus: Cool.

As they went around, Cyrus was becoming more and more confident in his abilities to skate, and his mind didn't even think about consequences, because he knew he was able to stop.

Cyrus: This is fun, but I don't feel like I'm ready to do tricks or anything yet.

Jonah: That's okay dude, I'm just happy you are okay this time!

Cyrus: Let's go and sit down for a moment, I need a break!

Jonah: Sure, I could use a break too.

They sat down on a bench and allowed themselves to rest. As usual, Jonah wanted to talk, as he hated awkward silences.

Jonah: So, the girls are busy, I hear?

Cyrus: Yes, Andi has a family event coming up.

Jonah: I bet she's excited.

Cyrus: She is, but I'm glad I don't have to help them clear up.

Jonah: Same here!

Cyrus: How is it going with Andi anyway?

Jonah had been secretly dreading this question for many weeks, because he knew everyone assumed that he and Andi were going out, but they weren't.

Jonah: We're good, she a great friend to have.

Cyrus: Are you going to ask her out?

Jonah: No, I don't feel strongly enough about her.

The confession shocked Cyrus a little, as he truly believed that Jonah would like Andi, considering how much she like Jonah.

Cyrus: Oh, that's okay.

Jonah: You don't think less of me, do you?

Listening to his friend, Cyrus felt like Jonah was very vulnerable. As Jonah's eyes stayed fixed on him, Cyrus quickly offered his friend assurance.

Cyrus: Of course not! I could never do that.

Jonah: I think I like someone else.

Cyrus felt happy and disappointed at the same time, because he knew exactly what Jonah was going to say, and he wasn't going to like it. To feel a bit less sad, Cyrus looked the ground.

Cyrus: Okay, why not tell me about her?

Jonah: For a start, it's not exactly... a her.

Cyrus turned to look Jonah in the face so quickly that he hurt his neck muscles a bit.

Cyrus: Wait a minute... you mean... it's a he?

Jonah: Yes, it's a very cute guy too...

Cyrus: Would you tell me who it is? The suspense is killing me!

Jonah: It's you Cyrus... I love you!

Cyrus froze from the revelation, time stood still and he was unable to speak. What Jonah had said took his breath away, he never thought in a million years that Jonah would feel anything for him.

Jonah meanwhile began to wonder if admitting his love for Cyrus was the best idea. He started to worry that he would no longer be friends with Cyrus anymore, when Cyrus broke out of his trance.

Cyrus: J-jonah...
