Jyrus Oneshots - Part I (COMPLETED)

Nearly Broken - Part 2

After being left on their own, Cyrus and Jonah discuss what happened, and get a bit of closure on a few things.

Cyrus looked at Jonah's green eyes, and noticed that they were red. He didn't know that Jonah could ever be so emotional, but he liked seeing it. To Cyrus, it made Jonah more human.

Jonah meanwhile felt relieved that he didn't have to explain what happened in the meeting, as Cyrus had heard it. His heart was doing somersaults, which made him nervous.

Cyrus: Let's get out of here. I want to get some air.

Jonah: Sounds like a great idea to me.

The boys walked out of the locker room and decided to venture home towards Cyrus' house. Jonah was not sure how Cyrus really felt about him, and he was desperate to know, seeing as Cyrus knew how Jonah felt.

Jonah: I meant what I told TJ.

Cyrus: Meant what?

Jonah: When I confirmed that I loved you.

Cyrus: Oh, that.

This had caused Cyrus to wonder what he really thought. He had a huge crush on Jonah for the longest time, but after that hug they shared when Jonah was turned down for a place on the regional team, he felt that things had changed.

Jonah: You don't have to feel the same. But I really do like you Cyrus.

Cyrus: Jonah, don't be so negative.

Jonah: B-but--.

Cyrus: I need you to know that I used to have a crush on you.

Cyrus' confession caused Jonah to stop walking. He looked at his friend and didn't know to react to him. He spoke softly to Cyrus, almost like a whisper.

Jonah: You had a crush... on me?

Cyrus: I did, and a while ago, I felt like it went away.

Cyrus noticed that Jonah deflated with that comment. It was at that moment, he confirmed his true feelings.

Jonah: Oh well... I understand, of course.

Jonah began running and didn't hang around for a response, in order to avoid speaking to Cyrus. It would only make him more upset.

Before getting more than ten steps away from Cyrus, Jonah looked back, and that was too much. He continued running and made it as far as his front porch but couldn't run any further.

It took a minute for Cyrus to catch up, as he chased Jonah. Before Jonah could move, Cyrus grabbed him by the shoulders, and Jonah relaxed at Cyrus' touch.

Cyrus: Jonah, please let me finish.

Jonah: I don't know if I can Cyrus, I don't want to be heartbroken.

Cyrus wondered why this situation seemed familiar, and then remembered that this was exactly how he felt about Jonah for the last few years.

Cyrus: JoJo...

Jonah: Don't, it's too much!

Cyrus: Calm down... I said I felt like my crush went away, but it wasn't quite like that.

Jonah was starting to control his breathing, which made him feel better. He lifted his head up, and saw Cyrus looking back with a comforting smile.

Jonah: What was it like then, Cy-guy?

Cyrus: The feelings became more than a silly crush. I now know that I love you more than anything else in the world.

Jonah: I wish I'd never dated Amber, or Andi. I was never happy, and  I lived in denial for so long.

Cyrus: But you don't have to anymore. I know how you feel and you know how I feel.

Jonah: And, do you think we could work?

Cyrus: I'm not sure, but I want to try.

Cyrus didn't give Jonah a chance to reply, as he grabbed his arm and they ran up to Jonah's room. It gave them a chance to talk more privately.

Jonah: You really want to give us a try?

Cyrus: I would love to, because seeing how TJ insulted me, and you defended me, I know that you are my soulmate, Jonah Beck.

Jonah *chuckles* Just Jonah, if you don't mind Cyrus Goodman.

Cyrus: I thought I was your Cyrus...

Jonah: You are my Cyrus, you've always been my Cyrus.

Cyrus: And you are my Jonah, and only mine, right?

Jonah was so overjoyed that he didn't realise how close he was to Cyrus. They were stood so close to one another that their noses touched.

Jonah: You're nose is cute.

Cyrus: So are your dimples!

Jonah: I want to do something...

Cyrus: Okay.

Jonah gently leaned closer and soon felt Cyrus' lips against his. They were warm and soft, which made Jonah know for sure that he was completely in love with Cyrus.

Meanwhile Cyrus wrapped his arms around Jonah and didn't want to let go. When they finished kissing, Jonah saw that he would be happy with Cyrus, no matter what other people thought.

Jonah: So, shall we make it official at school tomorrow?

Cyrus: You mean it?

Jonah: Of course! I want the world to know that we love each other.

Cyrus: Yes! Let's do that!

Jonah: I love you Cyrus, you make my heart speed up.

Cyrus: I love you Jonah, you make me feel safe.

*Time skip to the next day*

The next morning, Jonah met Cyrus on Cyrus' front porch. They hugged each other as soon as they met.

Jonah: Morning beautiful.

Cyrus: Hello gorgeous!

Unashamedly walking hand in hand, the boys went to school that morning with smiles on their faces. They saw Andi and Buffy when they entered, and the girls looked really happy.

Andi: OMG! You're so cute!

Buffy: How long?

Cyrus: Since yesterday, TJ used me and Jonah defended me.

Jonah: I wouldn't let anyone touch my Cyrus.

Andi: Aww.

Buffy: That's sweet.

Cyrus: My Jonah is always sweet.

As they all smiled at each other, they were interrupted by TJ and Danny. They had planned on telling the whole school about Jonah and Cyrus, but were disappointed that everyone had already found out.

TJ: Will you two just disappear already!

Danny: No one wants to see this!

Jonah: Get lost you two, you're so jealous of us!

TJ: No we're not!

Cyrus: Yes you are, we are in happy, loving relationship and you will never have that!

Danny: Ugh, why do we bother?

TJ and Danny left, not wanting to let the others know that they had won. Cyrus leaned close to Jonah, prompting the taller boy to rest his head against Cyrus'.

Walking through the corridors, no one else was horrible to them. Most people thought it was sweet that Jonah and Cyrus were together, the rest weren't really bothered either way.

So, a little cheesy but I liked writing this part.
