I wondered how I'd feel seeing her again after all these years. I wondered how it would be. The moment and the circumstances. How long it would take to see each other again after walking away shattered that day.

I hate to admit that I needed Anne to be here with me. Just incase it doesn't go as planned I'll have an excuse to hold it together. My family is with me.

My attention is caught by Harry who's looking up. His gaze is fixed on something so intensely. I look up too to see what and wish I hadn't.

There she was.

Oli didn't age it seems. Which makes my heart painfully ache because I realize how much I still love her. Here in this moment with everyone around us I can admit that to myself. Finally.

I've been angry for so long that I forgot how to feel anything else. Maybe I didn't allow myself and that's where I went wrong with Anne. We could have been happy I see. Except she wasn't the girl I first fell in love with. You don't get a repeat at at.

She scolds the little girl and they continue to make their way down. My ears are ringing while my face feels hot. This moment doesn't seem real to me but it really is happening.

When they are finally down with us they make their way over to Don. Who's standing with Eliza. I try ignoring how my heart feels but that's not possible right now. I feel like there's something I should be noticing but I can't point it out. There's something off about the both of them.

"We're so glad you came to visit. It's been so long." Don speaks to me first offering a kind smile.

In a way I am glad to see him as well. The man who's always been my friend no matter what. I just hate that he's married to the love of my life. That he's the father of her children. Don has everything I want. Everything I thought Oli and I both wanted and planned.

Then she left me high and dry. Without explain why really in my opinion. I want to know why "Clarissa" had a change of heart. Why she choose Don for all of our plans instead of me.

"I was pleasantly surprised to be invited. Nonetheless, I'm happy to be here and to see you all again." I offer a small smile to all of them.

"I'm happy to see you again Anne. You look lovely like always, Gemma takes after you obviously." Oli smiles looking at Anne. No wanting to talk to me first obviously. I wonder how people can be like this. Move on like nothing ever happened. Like nothing meant anything.

"You look lovely as well. Both of your girls have your grace and beauty." Anne replies with a smile of her own.

"Introduce yourself kids." I nudge Gemma and Harry.
