As previously mentioned, I am not fully acquainted with the active years and events, so if you spot errors - I apologize immensely.

Nevertheless, I just hope this is a little entertaining.

You stood in front of Freddie's apartment door, nervous as hell. Your hands were cold, and you felt like your knees were going to give way. The late evening air was rather cool - being neither too hot or too cold. Your hair fell into loose curls, and it was hard not to fiddle with a few strands as you stood there, rooted in your spot. Now, you had known the boys for some time now, eight months to be exact. Freddie, Roger, Brian, and John were truly an impecable band of musicians. Each of them was smart and talented, so when put together - they became something extraordinary.

For eight months, you had worked for Freddie, as his personal assistant. During the time that you had spent with him, you had been given the rare opportunity to spend time with the boys, and get to know them better - as human beings. In each one, you saw a differentiating quality that made them unique - but there was one boy that seemed to have successfully caught your attention.

Brian May.

Brian was the guitarist of the group, and he was incredibly skilled at what he did. Furthermore, not only was he skilled, he was also very smart - having studied astrophysics, even having planned to pursue a career in astronomy, at one point. His personality was intriguing, filled with mystery and depth. He had a very kind nature, and he was, most times, the epitome of a true gentleman. More often than not, his deep brown eyes exuded warmth, and welcomed the observer openly.

And of course, it was impossible to forget his charming smile.

It was undeniable that you had a huge crush on Brian, but you dared not say anything. You weren't sure if your emotions had been obvious, but you were determined to keep it as much of a secret as possible. You were afraid that you would be deemed unprofessional if any of the boys had found out.

At present moment, you were preparing yourself to spend an evening at Freddie's house, along with the boys. He had planned a casual night with them, and since you were his assistant, he had invited you as well. It was safe to say that Freddie liked you a great deal, as a friend - of course. Initially, you had tried to refuse, but he had insisted - so had Roger. And so here you were, feeling like a mess as you listened to the boys' laughter from inside.

Snap out of it, (Y/N)!

You took in a deep breath and finally brought your hand up to knock at the door.

"That'll be (Y/N)!" you heard Freddie say loudly, making you smile a little as you waited. A moment passed before the door opened, revealing Freddie. "Yes, I was correct!" he grinned. "And she looks amazing,"

A shy laugh escaped your lips as he practically dragged you inside before closing the door. Immediately, you saw the other three boys - seated on the floor. Brian had his guitar on his lap, but he looked up at you - making your heart flutter.

Roger muttered something, and Brian turned his head and cursed quietly, making you want to giggle.

"Excuse the boys, but you already know how idiotic they can be at times," Freddie waved his hand as you saw Brian place his guitar onto the sofa behind him.

"Wau! Look at Freddie, using big words!" Roger scoffed.

"That's not a big word," Brian muttered.
