Hi! Okay, so this particular piece of mine is one that I'd written quite a long time ago, back before I started this book, so it's very poorly done, please do excuse that.

However, I did feel like I wanted to present this one - so hopefully it isn't as horrid as I perceive it to be.

Aside from that, please do remember to stay amazing!

All my love!

"I looked up slowly, and the first thing I saw were his eyes. His eyes...they took away my sleep, and left me oh so restless at night,"

"Okay but blue honestly doesn't seem like it could look good," you spoke, waving your hands in the air as you conversed with your best friend, Leah. The two of you were quietly walking along the pristine floor of the large hotel lobby, deeply engrossed in the discussion that the two of you were currently in procession of.

"I bet if we can bring it to a mild state of stability, we'd succeed," she reasoned as the pair of you moved along.

The hotel lobby was quite crowded, but since the area of the respective space was mathematically designed to architectural perfection, there was still more than enough space for relevant individuals to move freely within, giving the scene a merry vibe - critically enhanced by the presence of gentle lighting structures that only served to make everything look all the more picturesque. At present moment, you were in the company of your best friend, temporarily reisiding amongst the many intricate aspects of one of the finest hotels known to you. The reason that you were at the mentioned hotel, was one that was denoted by the idea of being a speaker for a particular science convention that was to be held at the venue, organized by the foundation that you had been a volunteer for, for the past two years. Leah had been your research partner during that period of time, and since it was a given that the couple of you were predominantly involved with linked projects as a team, it was no surprise that she was right by your side, even if she had not been asked to give an address to the potential audience in attendance.

You'd both arrived about an hour prior to the recent moment, having been fairly drained from the three hour drive from the city, in which you lived, to the commercial area in which the hotel was extravagantly constructed. However, upon having arrived at the suite that was intended to have been your temporary residential address for two days, you had come to discover that there had been a bit of a problem with the air conditioning in that particular suite, one that fairly posed as an inconvenience, considering that the weather was already freezing, and the the contraption in question had been in a spot of malfunction, not permitting the temperature to be adjusted to a warmer degree. Since you and Leah were sharing a room, it was only sensible that she desired to accompany you to the service desk, so that you could speak to a figure of related authority in regards to a plausible solution. Naturally, a constructive conversation had been bound to have broken out between the pair of you, given that you both shared common interests in the field of study that a mutual love was shared for.
