Bi-stressed

CHAPTER 8

I wake up in the morning, have a heavy breakfast since the drive will be long and I have to keep myself going till lunch is served. Louis drops me off at school and I'm glad that I met Lyra at the gate. The coasters haven't arrived as yet and we walk towards the canteen to get some snacks to munch on during the long drive. I meet Kim at the canteen and say hi to her. She'll be hanging out with the group for sure so I won't stick to her and bother her.

"I'll hang out with Lyra and all so you can hang out with Luna and the group" I say to her.

"No you're hanging out with us!" she fires back.

"But-"

"I said you're hanging out with us!" she cuts me off.

"Okay." I sigh in defeat.

I really don't want to hang out with them and Luna being around is worse but I can't help it. Kim will never listen to me and it's pointless arguing with her.

We then walk towards the coaster and are seated in it class wise. I'm so glad Luna is not in my class and she won't be sitting in here. The drive is quite long and I rest my head on Celine's shoulder through out.

We soon arrive at the resort and get the keys to our lockers in the dressing room. Next I find myself changing with Luna. What the hell. How the fuck did she end up changing with me in the same bathroom? I try to open the door but it doesn't open. I try calling out to someone but there's not a soul who hears me. I have no other option than to change in there. I turn my face towards the wall and change not saying a word to her while she ignores me as well. After changing I think about how I'm going to get out of here. I bang the door several times and no one listens. Shit, we're locked in together! She then tries to open the door but it's still doesn't open. We keep calling out and banging but our efforts were unavailing. She tries to open again and this time it opens. Thankfully I'm not cussing at anyone anymore.

As I go out, I'm thankful for meeting Kim and Lyra out. We go towards the pools and at that instant I feel my heart aching, anxiety growing and can hear Luna screaming out my name. As we walk towards the pool of artificial waves I see a hand waving from a distance. That hand looks a lot familiar and  I recognize the hair tie on the hand. That's Luna! Fuck is she drowning.  I hurry into the water and swim towards her, I reach out for her and pull her up to the surface of the water. It was quite deep out there and thank goodness I know how to swim. As I pull her up, she holds onto me and at that very moment she slips and falls back in. I look down for her but she's nowhere...

Suddenly the music playing in the coaster startles me and I jump to my feet. I look around and find myself into he coaster.

"We haven't reached as yet." Lyra screams out through the blasting music.

"Oh!"

"Come now get up and dance with me!" She shouts aloud.

"No. Uh-not here!"

She takes hold of my hand and pulls me up into the crowd.

"I'm not in a mood, please." I whisper in her hear.

"Oh come now. Don't ruin it please, enjoy!"

I try not to upset her and dance with her for a while. The coaster is too shaky and I'm scared I might trip and fall. After about 10 minutes we sit back in our seat. This drive is extremely tiring and I can't sit in here anymore. My legs and butt hurt as hell. In the next 10 minutes we're told that were almost reached and it's about half an hour now. After about 5 minutes, I hear hooting and screaming and I know then we reached. We get down one by one and start walking.

I meet Kim and the group on our way. Kim catches my hand and we walk together. I can feel Luna's eyes on me and I can make out she's pissed at Kim for holding my hand. When we reach our destination after the long walk, we find no place to change. Luna and me come up with the same idea of changing behind the building and soon realize that there are men standing on top of the building. We then head towards the China Lagoon. I run before everyone else so I could get the keys to the lockers. Luna and me reach first. Since she's doesn't have her ID card she tells me to take off mine and gives the guy out there. He places a number tag on it and keeps it. He then hands me a pair of keys with the same number tag on it. We go in and she opens the locker to put my stuff in. Soon Kim and the group come in with their keys. I take out my change of clothes while she shoves our stuff in. Since all the bathrooms are occupied by the others, we have no other option than to change together. Kim, Luna and me decide to change together.

We're changing together. What the actual shit? Why would I agree to change with them, with her? I feel so awkward changing with them, even though I've changed next to Kim before and we're quite comfortable with each other. Changing with Luna grows my anxiety.

"Turn around!" Luna says.

I'm so lost in my thoughts that I forget my face was turned towards her. I look away from her and take off my clothes. I change into my swimming suit.

"Are you'll done?" Luna and me ask together. Wow, jinx.

"No, wait!" Kim says.

She's still putting on her tights and we both giggle while teasing her about getting fat.

"Done." She scowls at us making us giggle even more.

I feel the anxiety sinking now. I'm fine being around her I guess. After changing, I go to put my clothes which I was wearing earlier in the locker. Luna comes from behind, takes the clothes from me to put them in. I thank her and say, "I can do it!" She ignores, my clothes in her hands shoving them in the locker, after putting them in she walks away without saying a word to me or giving me a smile.

"Do I look fine?" I ask Melissa and the group.

"Yeah." Kim says.

"Yeah but I guess your tights are real tight and Miss Felicia might scold you."

"Oh fuck her! I don't give a shit. I'm wearing this only."

Luna comes from behind and settles my bra strap. I look away and smile to myself. The group looks confused by her gesture and looks away too.
