"Enough babe!" Zac's hand turns me around towards him. He catches hold of my slender waist and pulls me closer to him. I try to push him away but his grip is very strong. After fighting him for a few seconds, he calms me down leans in to kiss me."Where the hell were you?" I yell at him.
"I had gone to my cousins, baby."
"You're supposed to at least tell me! Everyone is looking for you out here and asking me. They must be thinking what type of a girlfriend I am. My boyfriend is God's knows where and I'm here dancing not knowing where he is."
"Chill baby girl. Relax. Reduce your anger! You were busy dancing with Elaine that's why I didn't tell you."
"But-"
"Forget about it! Now let's enjoy." He cuts me off.
Strobe lights and multicolored lights hit the dance floor but cannot reach beyond it. The blaring bass makes the ground shake. It's so crowed and all I see is dancing tangled bodies around.
He wraps his arms around my sylphlike waist which slowly reaches down and grabs my ass. He thrusts one of his legs between mine and moves along with the music. He thrusts in and out, catching the back of my slender neck and swirling his tongue around mine.
"Look at Josh!" Zac yells.
"Poor guy is dancing all alone." I laugh.
"He's so drunk."
"Let's accompany him."
We're dancing for quite some time now and my legs begin to ache.
"My feet are killing me."
"Wanna go home?"
"Yes please."
I drink plenty of cold drinks and water through out so I can walk straight. I didn't get that drunk but the strobe lights made my head spin and feet trip almost three times that's when Hardin thought I was actually drunk since I nearly fell on him.
As we head home, we see a crowd at the gate.
"There's a fight for sure!"
No party or bonfire can go without a fight.
"Wait here." Zac says and rushes towards the fight.
I catch his wrist as tight as possible and pull him up the steps towards the house. He loves fights and I know if I leave him here he'll hammer someone or get hammered by someone and I can't let this happen.
"You're coming in with me now!"
"But-"
"Not a word!"
"What's happening outside?" Halsey and Aunt Steph ask when we step in.
"There's a fight going on at the gate."
"I'm going down!" Louis says as he rolls his t-shirt over his head and rushes towards the door.
"No wait!" His wife shouts in a worried voice.
"These men go wild when they see fights." My aunt says.
Zac follows him and so do we. When we reach out in sight there's a guy holding a handful of the other guy's hair. He pulls his head forward and breaks his nose. People try separating them but still holding his hair in one hand, he gets his other hand into his crotch, putting his shoulder into him, he lifts him off the ground and slams him back on the ground. The guy grunts, goes limp and lies in the street with his mouth open. People surround him calling an ambulance and police. Another guy comes from behind smashes his elbow in the guy's side and slaps his right palm in his face, shattering his nose.
By the time I look to my side, there's no Zac. When I look back down, he's near the gate with Louis.
"Zac please come up!" I cry.
And at the same time, "Louis get up right now!" Halsey screams.
Looking at what happened with the guy before, my heart begins to race. I don't want Zac to get hurt.
