"Kim?"
"What?"
"The guy in charge of the boats is coming towards us. To hunt us away I guess!"
"He must have noticed us stay in one place for long."
"I don't want to get out! This place is so peaceful and relaxing." I say in a low voice.
"Same. I don't want to get out either."
"Let's go towards the end. He won't won't come right till there."
"I hope he doesn't."
"Paddle fast."
"Faster"
We are pretty far away, right at the end.
This artificial lake which seems more like a normal pool at 4 feet maybe, having a great extent from one side is built at a height, a very low height but when we reach the end we can see all around and down. This is so cool. Like wow.
"I wish I could just stay. This beautiful view from the top is so awesome!"
"I know right!"
We soon see the guy coming towards us to chase us away.
"It's 5:45. We leave at?"
"I have no idea. I hope they don't leave us though."
"I hope they do." We both giggle.
"Fuck, he is coming directly to us to chase us out!" I say aloud.
"He prolly needs the boat. We're in for long and others must be wanting to go for a ride."
"Yeah but..."
"He's right here."
"Turn your face. We'll pretend like we didn't see him coming and..."
He hits his hand on our boat and we jump up, facing him.
"Others need to get a chance too." He scowls at us.
"Okay, just 5 minutes more." Kim and me both say together.
"Or maybe 10." Or forever and never get out of here.
"No, right now!" He glares.
"Okay, okay."
We paddle slow, taking a last view of this place. The Sun is now setting down making the sky different shades of orange and yellow.
As we're admiring the place."Faster!" The guy yells at us.
"What?"
"Paddle faster!" He yells glaring at us.
"What the fuck is his problem. We're getting out, doesn't he have patience?" I tell Kim glowering at him.
We finally get out of the boat and are on our feet.
My eyes catch Melissa and Delilah. The first thought which comes to my mind is where's Luna? Then I see her lying down on the bench behind. We go and sit on the ground next to Melissa and Delilah. She's staring at me. Luna is staring at me but I don't look.
How much I want to be with her right now that much I want to be away from her. I can't let go of her but I have to, I need to. For her. I need to be far from her. If distance makes her loose feelings for me and makes her feel better then I'm fine with that.
"She needs you." Melissa interrupts my thoughts.
"What?" I'm confused.
"Luna needs you." Delilah clears my confusion.
"No she's happy without me. Look." I point out towards Luna and Laura.
"No she's so lost without you."
"She looks happy. See!" I point at them again.
"No your the only one who makes her happy, you know that. Just apologize and be together. I miss you'll being together."
"No, no." Anxiety grows and my heart is pounding.
"She's never been like that before. She's so lost with you. She really needs you!" Melissa repeats.
"No, I can't do this anymore. She fights for every little thing, hurts me, and then expects me to apologize and come back to her. I'm not going to be the one to apologize first this time. It's too much for me!"
"Exactly. Lexi is always the one giving in to her every time after she hurts her."
"She's hurt too." Melissa says in low voice.
"I'm not saying she's not. She is but if distance is what she wants then..."
"She doesn't want distance." Melissa interrupts.
"She does, that's why she keeps fighting so that I may end this so she can stop feeling this way for me.."
"She wants you..."
"I don't want her." I yell. My words are harsh and I as hell I want to take them back but... I really don't want her or maybe I do.
