Bi-stressed

CHAPTER 6

When I reach home, I take a shower and have my lunch. I call up Zac and have a short conversation with him.
"Hey babe! You okay?" He asks.

"Hey. Yes I'm okay. You okay?" I reply even though I don't feel much okay.

"Good. How was school?"

"It was okay, just too boring."

"Did Luna come up to you to speak or anything? Or did she try to do something to upset?" His voice is much concerned.

"No, not at all. We didn't even make an eye contact and I ignored her completely."

"Who were you with during break?"

"Kim. She was with me the whole time.  I told her everything."

"Oh okay. You don't need to tell everyone and make a fool out of yourself. Your not a coward, remember that!"

"Um hmm. You can't say I'm not."

"Your not!" He fires back.

"Okay." I don't argue anymore. "Did you have lunch?"

"No, did you?" He asks.

"Yes I did.  You sure you okay?"

"Yes I am. You've had a tiring day at school and sure as hell must be extremely exhausted. You should rest."

"I love you."

"I love you more." he replies and hangs up.

I dim the lights and shut my eyes in search for sleep. I finally get some sleep. After taking a nap, I freshen up and decide to study for an hour. After studying biology, I get ready to go to Aunt Steph's house to meet her and Halsey. Aunt Steph makes a cup of hot tea and I drink it before it cools down to get rid of the imminent headache. After having a long conversation about school and studies, my mom arrives from work to pick me up. We head home and I'm too exhausted so I have an early dinner and fall asleep.

The next day at school goes normal. No one talks to me or involves me in any of their conversations. I try to make a conversation with Melissa but she cuts me off as soon as Luna arrives. I feel uncomfortable the whole time she's around and go for a walk with Kim.
In biology we learn about the respiratory system. Class was quite interesting today but we don't even come to know when we started and when we ended. Miss Anne goes way too fast in the explanations. I have break with Kim again. It's only the two of us.  She knows how odd I feel when I'm with the group so she doesn't force me to hangout with them anyways.

Soon school gets over and I head home. Tomorrow is Friday which means I'll be spending the weekend with Zac. At least he'll get my mind off Luna!
The day flies by and Friday arrives.
Friday is half day so we get off early. Zac picks me up from school and drops me home. I take a quick shower and we both have lunch together. I pack my bags and we leave for Aunt Steph's house as I'll be staying the weekend there. When Louis returns home from work, we decide to go for a drive. We go to the mall and then to California Pizza to eat. I haven't had pizza for long time and I'm really enjoying it now. After eating we head home. I'm too tired to stay up so I fall asleep in an instant.

I wake up in the morning to a delightful breakfast. The whole day is spent with Zac. He distracts me the whole time from thinking about Luna.
Sunday morning we go to church for mass. Soon I realize that the entire weekend flew by so fast and that tomorrow I have school and have to face Luna again.

The whole week elapses and the notification for my results are given. I already know my grades and I'm not very happy with them. For sure my mom is going to demotivate me as usual. I'm tired of her demotivating me all the time that I can never become a doctor. I can never do well if she's going to carry on like that!

My mom and me head to school to take my results. The teacher I dislike the most is obviously complaining about me to my mom and my mom agrees with her not taking my side as usual. She's supposed to be my mom, encouraging me but instead she is always demotivating. She gives me long lecture on our way home and heads to work while I go home. I'm not that concerned about my results because it's just mid term. For the finals, I'm sure I'll do well unless my mom puts me down again.
I take a short nap as I reach home and spend rest of the entire day studying.

Weeks go by and it's the month of December. I'm so excited for Christmas already!!! Advent had started and Christmas play practices and Carol singing practices have begun. There's a Christmas feeling in the air and everyone around seems so jolly. Flashbacks of last year's Christmas plays in my head. Our Christmas dance at school and the day spend at Luna's house after that... That day! That iconic day which ruined the remainder of my life!
