Bi-stressed

CHAPTER 53

Two weeks have passed by and there's no sign of Luna. No message, no call. Neither do I get any hallucinations now. My studies are going great and Zac and me seem really happy nowadays. I hope this lasts forever. I'm so glad to see my state improving slowly.

Next Monday is my first board examination. I'm so nervous for it. The timetable is out and my first exam is biology.

*Phone beeps*

I open to see a message from Hardin.

*"Hey! Wassup"

How come he messaged all of a sudden. Anyways we're in good talking terms so like why not.

*"Heyy. Nothing much just board examinations on the head."* I reply.

*"Oh I see. How's your study preparations going?"*

"*They're going great. How are yours? Your CIEs are close too."*

*"Oh yes. They're starting next month. Mine are going great too."*

*"Oh. That's good that their going great. Wish you good luck!"*

*"Thanks and sameee. All the best!"*

*"Thanks."* *"Umm, don't you feel strange?"* I don't know what makes me text him this.

*"Strange?"* He replies.

*"Yes, I mean like talking to me. Don't you feel weird or something?"*

*"No Lexi. I dont. I thought we're good friends now?"*

*"Oh yes. We are, definitely. I hope you've forgotten all that happened in the past, you know I was just... crazy."*

*"For me. Ahan I haven't forgotten. Jk"*

*"Umm, yes for you."*

*"We've talked about this before that nothing from the past should come between the friendship we have now. That was like a long time back and I regret."* He says.

*"Regret what?"*

*"I'm sorry for being so harsh on you."*

*"Can we not talk about how harsh you were on me. Let's forget this conversation even happened."*

*"Okay so do you want to continue talking or..."*

*"Of course, I do."*

*"Of course? Okay then... I thought we were gonna sleep."*

*"You want me to?"*

*"Yes."*  With you? Lexi stop, you have a boyfriend.

*"You're so mean!"*

*"I know, I am very."* With a devil and wink emoji.

*"Only I know how mean you were with me. You were literally so rude! I hate you."*

*"But I don't."*

*"What?"*

*"Hate is a strong word. I don't hate you. I don't hate anyone. I'm a really nice person."*

And the conversation continued until I told him I had to go baby sit Bethany.

Just then, Zac calls. I tell him I'm busy baby sitting Bethany and he gets pissed at the fact that I was speaking to Hardin and when he called to talk, I couldn't speak. And there, happiness doesn't last forever. I think I spoke too early saying I hope this lasts forever. In these two weeks, it's a first time he's got pissed and I'm kinda hating it. Anyways he'll turn okay. In a way, it's okay. I deserve his anger. I would too get mad at him if I knew he was talking to his ex and not me.
