"Fuck, I can't get this damn chord right." Zac throws his guitar on the couch in frustration.

"Yo. You gotta have with patience with this. You're playing after a long time. This will happen." Hardin tells Zac.

"Yes. Practice and patience." I give Zac an encouraging smile.

I watch as Hardin helps Zac. After a multiple attempts he finally gets it correct. We practice whole evening to get the songs perfect.
The concert is in two days and I'm super excited but nervous at the same time.

"Lucas called me earlier. He said we needed to go for a sound check tomorrow. He'll text me the address." I inform them.

After one final practice for the day, Zac and me get going home. On our way out Hardin's mum meets us.

"I'm so glad to see y'all here so often these days." She tells us, patting Zac's back.

"Oh young man! I can't believe my eyes. I still remember when I held you as a baby. Your mother,"

"Mom." Hardin cuts her off. "It's pretty late. They need to go home."

Zac's childhood and his parent's friendship with Hardin's parents make me curious.

This time Zac doesn't just force a smile instead speaks a few kind words I never expected coming from Zac.  We say bye and make our way to Zac's car.

"The car looks sexy right?" He asks, winking.

"Yup. Still looks brand new. Sleek black."

"Well, not as sexy as you though." He smirks.

"True that."

"We're not going home so soon." Zac says as I settle myself in the passenger seat.

"What do you mean?"

"We're going for a drive."

"Really? But aunt-"

"Don't worry about her. I've spoken to Halsey."

"Yay! Oh we should have taken Hardin along."

"Don't you think he's with us all of the time? We need to spend some time alone."

I nod. I don't even remember the last time Zac and me actually spent time alone. After Zac's surgery, Hardin has always been with us. I love how we all get along now. I love our trio. And now that he isn't with us, it feels incomplete. But Zac's right, we need to spend time without him.

"Earth to Lexi." He leans across and kisses me. I grip his neck, kissing him harder.

"Fuck Lexi." Zac moans into my mouth. That makes me get off my seat and onto his lap. Straddling him, I continue to kiss him.

"Thank goodness I decided on tinted glasses."

"This was probably the reason you did."

"Not really,"  Just then we hear a thunder sound and within seconds it starts to rain.

"And so we can't go for a drive."

"Fuck the drive." I take his hands off my waist and place them on my chest.

"Lexi what are you-"

"Sshh.. Just," I don't even have to tell him what to do. His hands do magic, making me moan into his mouth.
I begin to rock my hips against him. He then brings his hands down, grabbing my hips and pulling me close, leaving no space between us.

"Fuck me." The words leaving my mouth surprise both of us.

"Really? It's raining Lexi."

"Isn't that better? No one can even see inside."
