After Zac goes through our conversation, I delete the account. We hardly spoke through that account anyway.
We go for a walk down the lane. The lights are glittering through out and the sound of children carol singing seem louder as we pass by.
I remember when I was a kid, my friends and I went carol singing and it was so much fun. The money gifted to us was spent in organizing a Christmas tree party in one of our houses. Every year in another friend's house. As the years passed and we grew older, we stopped going.
Good old days.
Those were such good days and now we hardly talk. Friends get replaced with new ones eventually.
...
"Morning baby." Zac says as I slide the curtain open and unlock the door for him.
He walks in giving me a tight hug and kiss on the cheeks.
"Morning?" I rub my eyes filled with sleep, frowning at him in surprise and trying to concentrate what's happening around.
"Here." He smiles, handing me a plastic bag.
"What's this?"
"Check it out!"
As I open the plastic bag, I find two similar sweatshirts.
"Is this for us?"
"Yes."
"Aw." I smile at him.
After having breakfast, we spend the day cleaning up for Christmas and decorating the entire house.
"Pass me the red ribbon!" Halsey shouts.
"Show let me do it. You don't climb up please."
"Here."
"I'll do it." Zac interferes
"No." I snap at him. "Just help me up!"
He gives me a hand as I climb on the stool and pushes me up from the back.
"What if I fall?"
"I'll catch you." He titters.
After I finish taping red ribbon on the wall and sticking the Christmas prints I jump down into Zac's arms. He catches me by waist and puts me to my feet.
We hear music and mic checks as I place the last string of chilly lights beneath the pane of the window.
Disco lights hit my eyes as I turn around."It's 7?"
"Yes! Go get dressed." Zac yells.
"What! But the bonfire won't start so early."
"You take a hundred hours to get dressed."
I pout at the fact that he is right but won't admit.
"All girls take long to get dressed!" I say as I walk past.
I go in for a hot shower.
The sprays of hot water hit my skin making me leap out of it. That's too hot. I shift the valve towards the warm side and get back in. The water is lukewarm now and feels so relaxing as it touches my body. I don't feel like getting out of here.
What Luna must be going through right now?
Is she still crying?
I hope she's okay.
I haven't texted her since then. I want to but I shouldn't. I should but I don't want to. It's hard debating with my mind and heart.
Anyways, I gotta enjoy tonight. Forget about all the pains, all the memories and about her.
Its 8:30 and I find myself asking Lyra if my outfit looks good. One tick appears so she's probably not at home and doesn't have her mobile data on.
I soon apply light make up. Just mascara on what she called Disney princess eyes. Wine color lipstick and highlighter a must.
Liner makes me look like a freaken witch.
I slip on my boots but it doesn't go with my outfit so prefer wearing my new white sneakers.
My net tights can be shown through the rips in my black jeans and the dark lipstick make my appearance badass.
We head downstairs and as soon as we're stamped on our hands and move inside, I see a girl with long curls and a figure like Luna.
Fuck.
She's here.
