Bi-stressed

CHAPTER 16

"Let's change at the back of this building!" Luna steals my idea.

"No, there are men behind there." Kim says.

..

"Run!" Luna screams.

"Fast!"  Kim screams louder.

..

"Give me your ID card." Luna tells me.

She hands me the keys after opening the locker and shoves my stuff in.

"Turn your face!" She tells me.

I can't believe we're changing together.

..

Luna hides my bra strap under my
t-shirt, giving me a soft smile.

..

Splashes of water on my face...

"I'm cold." She tells me.

"Teach me to swim!"

..

"I,  I- uh can't, walk..." I stutter, trembling and shivering with cold.

Luna covers me with her sweater, her arms around me...

"Here." She hands me a spoon.

"There's no ice cream for us!" She tells me with disappointment.

..

She sat in the boat waiting for me to sit with her..

"I'll sit with Kim."

"Get in Meli!"

She's upset. I regret.

The moon peeks while the sun sets. So close still out of reach...
The beautiful view reminds me of Luna.

"Sitting in here, watching this beautiful scenery with the love of your life is all one needs!"  I say aloud.

"Like those to two!"

Laura and Luna together kills me...
Why she's not talking to me anymore?  I don't care no I do. I want her so bad. I love her. I can't but I do.

"Whoever came in their coasters should go back to their own!" Her words are harsh and it kills me to hear them come from her mouth.

"I shouldn't have agreed to come here anyway."

Tears roll down my cheeks as the flashbacks play in my head. Today was so good yet so bad. She had to ruin it by saying that. I had to ruin it by not sitting in that boat with her. Everything is a mess. I want her so bad even after everything but can't have her. I mean I can have her but I shouldn't be having her. We can't go back to normal. Never.

I open my eyes and stare out of the window. Tears rolling down my cheeks. I love her. Today was different. I don't only want her as my best friend. I want her more than that. Much more than just a best friend. She wants me and I want her but this can't happen. I love Zac and he loves me and we're together. This is so confusing. I just don't know who I want more and who I love in that way.

I close my eyes shut, steering clear my thoughts. I soon fall asleep.

"I love you."

Zac and Luna kiss...

"What the fuck? How can you'll do this to me?"

"Your the one doing this to us."

"Lexi get up! We're almost reached." I hear Lyra and Celine yelling at me.

I'm awake but I keep my eyes closed, pretending to be asleep. What am I doing to Luna and Zac? Why the fuck were they kissing? They love each other? No this can't be happening with me.

"We're almost reached." Cel's voice interrupts my thoughts but I keep my eyes shut. I'm crying and I can't show them. Lyra is already so concerned about my mood earlier and I don't have the courage right now to tell her anything and everything.

"She's sleeping from the time we left!" Tessa says.

"Is she okay?  She's alive?"  Cel ask Lyra.

"Guys I'm alive. Stop freaking out!" I force out a laugh.

"Oh thank goodness." Cel replies.

"I was just thinking about the Biryani." Lyra teases and I swat at her arm.

"You want me dead?" I frown but instead a laugh drops out.

"No, can't live without you." We all begin in a chortle.

It's jam pack and we're stuck for fucking half an hour here seems like forever. Slowly the coaster moves and everyone hoots and it stops again.

"Fuck, I'm just getting down and walking." I scowl.

After about 30 mins more, we reach. I pop my head out of the window, looking for Halsey and Louis. They said they were coming to pick me up.

"There is Halsey!" Lyra exclaims.

I wave out my hand to them. After getting down I go to them. I scan my eyes to find Luna but she's gone I guess. I say bye to them and move out of this rush with Halsey. I take hold to Halsey's hand, taking care of her as she's 6 months pregnant...
