CHAPTER 41

"Are you okay?" Chelsea asks me as I enter in tuitions.

"Umm, Yeah. Why?"

"I got to know about the fight in school. The way ruby-  It was bad I heard."

"Hmm."

"Don't be upset. You know, if anything such happens I'm there for you. You can like, always call me. I'll definitely be there for you."

"Yeah I know. Thank you. "

"I'm so sorry. You were fighting all alone weren't you?"

"Yes but it's okay. I gotta fight my own battles. Thanks so much for your concern."

"Anytime. By the way, if you don't mind can I ask you something?"

"Yeah sure." Just don't ask about Luna please.

"Is Luna bisexual?"

Fuck, why this question. "Umm I don't know."

"You know Laura is bisexual, right? Even Ruby and I find Billie and Kylie too?"

"Yeah."

"Like how? I mean how can a girl and girl date like-"

"Girls can have feelings for girls too." I defend by cutting her off and she looks at me in surprise.

"I mean, girls can be attracted to girls and boys." I say.

"Yeah yeah, I know. But you know, when guys break a girl's heart repeatedly, that girl stops taking interests in guys then. She fears the next guy will do the same so she decides to date a girl. I think that's why girls start dating girls."

"That's not true. I mean in my opinion that isn't."

*"Hey guys. I'm sorry for everything that happened. I won't be hanging out with you'll anymore but I'll always be there for you'll so feel free to message me whenever. Love Lexi."* As soon as I finish typing, I send this text to all of the group members.

They all send back love and support except for Kim. Why isn't she talking to me?  What have I done to her? Anyways fuck her. The very next minute, I receive her message.
*"You didn't tell me Luna and you spoke before?"*

*"It was kept a secret. Only between us."*

*"So you started keeping secrets from me? Wow."*

*"She told you, didn't she? "*

*"Yes, she told me everything."*

*"Did she tell you she kissed me?"*

*"No. When?"*

*"She did, in school."* I shouldn't have told her. I'm such a dumb fuck.

*"Okay. So what now? Aren't you gonna give her another chance?"*

*"No, do you think I will after all of this?"*

*"Yes. You said the same thing last time but ended up giving in to her and this was what she did."*

*"Not this time. It's enough. I can't let her hurt me anymore."* And I can't hurt her anymore. She's been through enough because of me.

Weeks pass by and I'm trying my best not to think about her. Zac and me work on making our relationship stronger and I'm trying to forget her but it's so damn hard. Seeing her each day in school makes it more fucking hard. You know what fuck her. My subconscious hits me. Stop thinking about her.

"Prelim examinations start from the 29 of January!" The teacher makes an announcement. Fuck. Prelims. There's hardly a month left. I've done most of it but I need to exert efforts in Chemistry.
The syllabus of Biology is complete and so is of English. This time I'm gonna prove to my mom that I can do it. I have to work hard. Two weeks pass by in slogging my ass out and finally prelims are round the corner.

Time elapses so fast and my examinations are nearly over.

"1 more to go!"

"Which one?"  Shawn asks me after school. (Sorry for bringing Shawn late in the story. Anyways he is Lexi's male best friend.)

"Biology, my favorite." I tell him.

"Oh yeah. So kuttay ke doctor? He teases me.

"Shut up. It's called vet!" I scowl at him.

"Okay chill. I'm just kidding. By the way where are you lost nowadays?"

"In a world that doesn't exist." I laugh.

"I can see. You hardly talk to me or anyone. Why is that so?"

"I don't know."

"Again that lunatic drama?"

"Stop. Her name's Luna!"

"Oof defending your best friend. Wow."

"She's not my best friend anymore."

"This is what I wanted to hear from you. Now tell me what happened?"

"Nothing, I'm so done with her and with everyone."

"You always say that, but you see, you guys will get back together so don't stress out."

"We won't. Not this time."

"Bet?"

"Bet."

"And who's the everyone else your done with?"

"Kim, Elaine, and my whole group in school."

"Thank God my name isn't included in the everyone." He laughs then continues, "I warned you about Elaine before and I'm glad she's not in your life anymore. But by the way why Kim and all?"

"I had completely stopped talking to Elaine after she spread rumors about Zac and me but now we speak a little bit. And about my group, I mean ex group. They all are fake and I'm tired of them treating me different around Luna so now I've stopped hanging out with them. Plus Kim chose Luna over me so like fuck her and all of them."

"Fuck them all. You have me so be tension free... Oh that rhymed!"

"You're lame." I pout. " Oh yes I have you and Zac."

"So when you're giving me a treat?"

"Treat for what?"

"You and Luna broke up so..." He laughs.

"Not funny."

"Just kidding baba. Anyways you take care of yourself and text me whenever. Also, good luck for your last exam. I hope you fail." He giggles.

"Shut up!" I scowl at him.

When I reach home from school, I hear my mom talking to Aunt Steph with a worried look on her face.

"What's wrong?" I ask my mom hoping there's no bad news.

"Halsey's rushed to the hospital. She's in labour."

"Oh. Is she okay?"
