"So she just..left? Liam says with a mouth full of Doritos.

"Yup," I say, keeping it simple when I notice my mom lingering around the hallway near the living room. She didn't see me and Jonique in bed by sheer luck, so there is no way I'm going to let her find out about the whole shower make out just because Liam doesn't know how to keep his voice down.

"Are you sure you weren't dreaming?" Liam jokes.

"I wasn't," I say kicking his foot.

"So let me get this straight she came in your house and got into the showe..."

"Shut up," I hiss, kicking him again, nodding my head toward the hallway,mouthing, "My mom."

"Oh sorry, I forgot she was home," Liam apologizes checking his phone.

"Yea so you going to Craig's still?" I ask him, hoping my mom moves on and she does, the sound of footsteps going up the stairs sounding like music to my ears.

"Yup, I'm going to meet Sophia there at like nine-forty. Wanna come?"

"Sure," I answer. Truth be told I hate going to parties at Craig Newman's house but with Jonique being busy, and not being able to come over later I may as well make fun of a bunch of drunk idiots at a party.

"You should bring your camera, Jo's probably going to be there," Liam says wiping his fingers onto his jeans.

"No she won't. She told me she couldn't come over again today so I'm guessing she has to stay home all day or something," I tell him. Liam doesn't know what I know about Jo's home life so I don't really expect him to understand.

"Oh. Okay," Liam shrugs,"So why don't you just stay home and take pictures of her through the window with your new camera?"

"Because she hasn't been in her room all day," I answer.

"Then how do you know she's even home?"

"I'm sorry are you dating Jo or Sophia? I can't tell right now with all the questions," I snap.

Truth be told, I didn't really have an answer. I saw her dad get home from where ever the hell he always goes, a few hours after Jo left, but she still never came up to her room. I figured her parents were making her clean the entire house as punishment for not coming home last night but as the hours flew by I wondered if she was even home at all.

"Your not going to find parking over there," I tell Liam in annoyance. Each and everytime we come to Craig's house, Liam always tries to find the closest parking spot to the house but it's impossible, you can't park close when you get to a party late. I always tell him to take the first spot we see yet some how we end up driving around for a spot for nearly an hour.

"It's still early, it's not even ten," Liam says calmly looking up and down the street.

"If you circle back around the street one more time..." I begin to say as Liam does just that.

"Liam just park anywhere it won't kill us if we have to walk a few extra steps," I snap.

"Fine, geez," Liam says oblivious to what he constantly does,"What's your problem?"

"My problem is you do the same shït everytime we come to Craig's house. It's annoying."

"Is it Jo?"

"What? No, she has nothing to do with your stupid parking problems," I tell him, even though my annoyance is truly rooted with Jo leaving so sudden, more so because she didn't give me a reason as to why she left.
