A lot of POV changes for this chapter. Sorry in advance.
I groaned.
Damn memory screwed my focus.
Memories? They're coming back?
I got excited. Maybe the pool was the reason but I had gained my first memory!
My smile was wide before I heard the bushes rustle. In that instant I realised that I was in the middle of who knows where in the middle of the night.
I wasn't scared of the dark but the unknown unnerved me.
Whatever juice I was running on disappeared. I sighed in frustration and tried to recall those emotions.
I tried for a few minutes before I realised that I couldn't. It felt like this place was too special to have negative feelings. I looked around and really saw the place for the first time.
The crescent moon illuminated the spot and I could tell it was beautiful. The grass was green and luscious. The breeze brought the smell of sweet spring flowers. The water reflected the moon and the velvet night sky. I felt like I could stay here forever. It was warm and comforting.
I saw a stump of a tree. I walked to it and sat down. I tried to figure out how to get back. Back to earth. I tried bringing up a few more emotions but none of them was strong enough.
My thoughts were disturbed when I felt the hairs on my back stand.
I stood up but not before I froze as a growl reached my ears.

We were running so fast, everything passed by in a blur. I heard my Beta mindlink me.
"Alpha, where are you?"
He sounded worried but I just groaned. He was worried that I might try something again. I rolled my eyes mentally.
"I'm on a run. My beast is restless and need to run it off." I growled out.
He replies with a "alright Alpha" before popping out of the link.
We continued on till we could hear the waterfall. It was a few miles ahead but my hearing caught the sound and gave my wolf another burst of energy.
As we drew closer, I could smell something was off.
Someone was there!
I felt my beast snarl and run faster than before. If anyone was out there, they'd be dead the second I arrived.
Who dares desecrate this sacred ground?!
As I got to the edge, the aura of the waterfall was already calming me. I tried to maintain my anger but it was slowly dissipating. I hated that. I rushed before my bloodlust disappeared.
I almost stopped in my tracks as I saw the place.
It had an unnatural calming sense about it. I didn't like coming here because it dulled the ache in my heart. It made everything feel better. But it also made it feel like she was never there.
Grieving meant that I loved her and my heart was hurting without her. This place took that away from me. But now as I step back in, it was different. It calmed me but it made me miss all the times we spent together. The hundred year battle was enough time for me and her.
I was lost in thought for a minute before I noticed the stump. A dark hooded figure was sitting on it. My anger came back a smidge and growled. It was wearing pants so I knew that it was male but the shape was too curvy.
The person heard my growl and stood up. It was a woman...wearing pants?
I ran straight for her. No one, man woman or child can be here. She heard me running and started running towards the water.
Poor fool! The water won't help you.
I pounced on her as the water started to rise.

I ran to the water. I needed to get out of here!
Fear is a really good emotion to power up with. Just saying.
As I felt the water surge up, my attacker tackled me. And right before his force and weight could push me down the water crashed on us.
In an instant I was floating again. I took a minute to look at the water around me. It varied in shades of blue, purple and green.
My waist felt tingly all of a sudden and I looked down. The guy was till on me!
I tried squirming myself out of his grasp but the freaking dude wouldn't let go. I noticed his arms and was pleasantly surprised to find them muscular and veiny.
His hands were around my waist and to be honest, it wasn't as painful as before. It was loosening by the second. I pushed myself out of his hold. I pulled my hood down further before turning to face him.
I'm ashamed to admit that the first thing I noticed was his naked torso. He was ripped! Almost as if sculpted out of a mountain. I could tell he wasn't breathing by the lack of movement in his toned tanned chest.
My goodness he looks hot!
I shook myself out of my trance.
Focus Kia!
This guy tried to rugby tackle me in the middle of the night in a forest! Who knows what kind of awful thing he would've done if I hadn't summoned the water gate.
Thats right!
The portals were called Water Gates. It seems that my memory is coming back but by tiny bit.
I looked at his face and gasped.
Holy huck...

The moment I touched her, the water gate snatches us up and closes. I held my breath and I realised that we were now travelling between worlds. I've never done it before mostly because the mages kept to their castle and towns.
I felt my wolf roll his eyes.
Shut up!
Fine, that wasn't the only reason but that's what I'm sticking with.
I held on tight to the invader. But I felt my arms make contact with warm skin.
Her clothes must've ridden up.
That was my first thought. The second after that was that, the contact sent pleasant sparks of electricity throughout my body.
I loosened my grip. Mostly out of shock (no pun intended) but also because holding my breath was making me a bit dizzy.
I closed my eyes to try and focus on not fainting but I felt her scrutinising gaze on me. My wolf felt guarded, as if she was searching for a weakness. I couldn't life my head to look into her face because holding my breath was hard to focus on.
I heard her gasp.
"It's you!"
She whisper-shouted, her voice. Her voice was soft and melodic. It was a bit light but there was no doubt. I look up and saw it.
Dark tan skin. Plump lips. Hazel eyes.
How?
Before I could say anything, I hit solid ground.
