Kiara

I woke up to the light streaming in through the window of my parent's room. It was like a gentle caress on my face as the sun rose. Behind me, was a sleeping Nox who had his arms wrapped around my waist and holding on comfortably. Not too loose, not too tight. His breath on my neck was like soft warm fingers making my neck hairs rise. I tried to shift a little to stop the feeling goosebumps all over my body, I accidently pushed my butt into him. It made him groan a little as I felt something else poking against me.

I realised what it was and laughed silently, hand over my mouth but it wasn't quiet enough. Before I could think of a 400 foot tall purple platypus-bear with pink horns and silver wings, I was on my stomach and a sleepy Alpha Male was holding me down.

"You shouldn't tease me like that, my love. I can only take so much." He breathed out, voice deep from sleep and groggy. It sent the butterflies in my stomach on a rampage.

"I just...need to go to the bathroom." I rushed out, trying to hide the blush on my face and the tension in my voice.

He rolled off me and let me rush to the bathroom. I didn't really need to go but since I was in there I might as well relieve my bladder. I thought about what happened yesterday as I sat down.

After, Nox found us, we ran back to where my friends were, but not before opening a portal without a sister one, to keep him in the dimension between. It was the water that filled the spaces in between where I am to wherever I want to go. Mason was the first one to leave after a pain filled howl echoed through the night. We found a glowing Jamie and a freshly shifted Erica.

They were both just as scared of us as they were of themselves but after much comforting from Mason and I, they calmed down and told us what happened to them while Nox kept watch in his fur. He then ran off to scout the parameter. Wolves came to the edge of the forest, coming to aid their beta in helping a sleeping Erica back to their home, but I offered them my room, seeing as her body was too exhausted to run back and trekking with her asleep might have been too hard. They accepted but not before seeking my permission to keep a few wolves around to guard the house.

I agreed. Although my mate wasn't a fan of having so many men around our space, I argued that the more security we had the better. I also asked them to guard the prisoner whom I had to pull out of the inbetween. Although it was a space you can breathe in, it wasn't meant for anyone to stay in for more than a few minutes. Least of all, mortals.

I gave Jamie my sister's room whilst we took my parent's room. I was too exhausted to do anything more than change and jump in to the bed.

And that brought us to this morning.

I decided to take a quick shower and wash off the make up from last night. Ewww!

A quick knock got me out of there so fast, that I almost missed the smirk on his face, seeing me in a towel. I dressed in my Dad's giant t-shirt that now smelled like Nox and took off downstairs. Before I even reached the bottom, the smell of breakfast hit me. It made my mouth water and my nose twitch as I inhaled the heavenly aroma.

I looked to see Jamie cooking up a storm as the coffee was brewing and the mountain of scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoes, bacon and toast were coming into view. She was humming and making pancakes.

"If I wasn't so damn straight, I would marry you in a heartbeat." She laughed out in her ugly snorting laugh.

"Morning, Kiki." she sang out after her laughter died down. I grabbed a few plates and set them down on the table, grabbing the plates of food and placing it there, ready for serving. I grabbed a cup of coffee and sat at the head of the table. Ready for the others to start making their way down.

Jamie sat beside me, looking lost in thought.

"You okay, Jay?"

"Yeah, just thinking about yesterday. I had such a weird dream last night."

"Oh? What was it about?"

She kept quiet for a minute, but then she spoke again. "You're gonna think I'm crazy but I think I saw the future. I know it's going to sound weird but I swear it felt like it's something that hasn't happened yet." Her eyes pleading for me to believe her.

I smiled softly. It was new to her.

"I believe you Jay. Those who have been called to serve the moon and sun always have visions and dreams. Everything changes except the course of the moon and sun. They are always there to shine light on us, and they rule the skies, overlooking all of creation. So, I believe, but what have you seen?"

She stirred her coffee with a spoon and it sort of put her in a trance, reliving the vision she had the night before.

"Wolves running together on a full moon, you were running ahead of them, they howled for their Alpha who was not there. A lifeless creature running beside you, a castor on your right and a child of the forest on your left..." Her eyes went white, her voice grew to three different voices.

"Beware the signs: a traitor on the horizon, a blood soaked field reflected on the the sky, a loveless heart and a child of the moon. When these come to pass, the end is nigh."

Her eyes went back to normal, her stirring went slower as she saw the rest of the house standing on the stairs, eyes wide and mouth agape.

"Well, come here guys, breakfast is ready and you better hurry before it gets too cold." she continued as if nothing happened. I grabbed her hand and felt that she didn't know what happened. Almost as if it never happened.

"Hmm..." I pondered it. The last Sun Seer I saw remembered everything she saw. She even kept a journal of it, but it must be that the power in her body is still new and she is getting used to having the moon's mana in her body.

I felt him sit down to my left, across from Jamie. "Well, this morning has a few lovely surprises." he smirked and kissed my hand.

I, however, pondered over her vision before she went super seer. I was leading the wolves, and they were howling for their lost Alpha. I kissed his cheek and smiled at his cheek slightly turning pink.

I was going to make sure nothing separates us again. Ever.
