When the rumbling stopped and the cave was no longer moving, Can slowly got up from the cave floor. It was pitch black and he could not find his flashlight. He called Sanem's name, but he got no answer. He called her name louder, but still no answer. He started moving around inside the cave trying to feel for her. He couldn't see two feet in front of him. He kept yelling her name as he was walking around the cave. He finally heard a soft moan and went in the direction of that sound. He kept saying her name and asked her to please answer him. He heard the moan once again and continued following the sound. He finally found her laying on the floor of the cave. He rubbed his hands all over her. He started at her feet and made his way to her head. His hands touched a sticky substance when he reached her head. He felt for any deep gashes but only found a small one. He ripped off a piece of his shirt and tied it around her head, covering the wound. He gently touched her face. He said her name once again. She responded back by saying Can. He asked her if she was alright? She told him she thought so, but her head hurt. He told her she must have been hit with ice or rock when the avalanche hit. He asked her if she could sit up and she told him she could. He helped her to a sitting position. She asked him if they were trapped? He told her unfortunately they were but not to worry. He promised her he would take care of her and get them out of there. He told her to sit there while he tried to look for another exit out of there. She said OK.

Can walked back through the cave trying to find a way out. There had to be another way out of there. It seemed like he walked forever when he finally saw a stream of daylight. He walked towards it. The snow around this area was light that he thought he could dig his way out of there. He went back to get Sanem. He found her where he left her, sitting against the cave wall. She was awake but very cold. He asked her if she could walk. She told him she would try. He helped her stand and removed his coat and put it on her. She told him no because she didn't want him to freeze. He told her he would be fine; he was part werewolf. Sanem smiled at him. She told him he was her werewolf. Can gave her a quick kiss and said let's go. She was able to walk with Can towards the back of the cave where he saw daylight. Can helped her sit down against a wall and went over to the stream of daylight. He found a big rock and he started digging around the area. The stream of daylight got bigger and bigger as he dug. He stopped after a while and sat down beside Sanem. He asked her if she was doing OK? She said yes but she was very cold. He wrapped his arms around her to give her some heat. She was shivering. He told her this was his fault. He should have never brought her into this cave. He told her how sorry he was. Sanem kissed him and told him to stop. She told him everything would be fine. They were together and that was all that mattered to her. Can kissed her lips and quickly deepened the kiss. Sanem opened her mouth wider so he could deepen the kiss even more. Sanem was beginning to feel warm all over. She moaned into his mouth. Can held her tightly almost like he didn't want to let her go. Sanem pulled back a little and smiled at him. She told him she loved him, but he needed to keep digging. She wanted out of here. Can laughed and told her yes, mam!

Can kept digging with the rock he found. When the hole was big enough, he popped his head out to look around. He smiled because he knew where they were and how to get back to the cabin. He went back inside the cave and got Sanem. He helped her climb out of the cave with him right behind her. Once they were completely out of the cave, Can was able to look more closely at her head. She had dried blood on her forehead and down the side of her face. He removed the part of his shirt he used to cover her wound and found a small wound. It wasn't deep and it would not require stitches. When they got back to the cabin, he would clean her wound. Can realized they weren't that far from the cabin. He knew the ATV was buried under snow and debris at the entrance of the cave. They would have to walk back to the cabin. He explained this to Sanem, and she said she could do it. He told her he knew she could. She was a strong woman. Can put his arm around her and they headed back to the cabin. Sanem's head was aching and she just couldn't get warm. She didn't complain one time to Can. They just kept walking. Sanem kept thinking of a warm bath when they got back to the cabin and food because she was starving.

It took them a while, but they finally made it back to the cabin. Sanem told Can she was going to soak in a warm bath. He told her he would make dinner. He also told her when she was done bathing, he wanted to re-bandage the wound on her head. She smiled and said OK, Dr. Divit. She gave him a quick kiss and headed to the bath. She ran the bath water and stripped off her disgusting clothes. They were filthy with blood, dirt and mud. Sanem sunk down in the water. It felt so good. Can was in the kitchen putting kebobs together for the grill. He tossed a quick salad and cut up some fresh fruit. Once the kebobs were on the grill, he went in search of Sanem. He found her lying back in the bathtub. He smiled and went to her. He asked her if she wanted help bathing. She said she was done except for her back. So, Can grabbed the soap and a rag. He proceeded to wash his wife's back. Sanem said that felt so good. She told him she never thought she would be warm again. He told her to come out of the tub and get dressed. Her dinner is awaiting her. He wrapped her in a towel when she exited the tub, gave her a quick kiss and went to take the kebobs off the grill.

Dinner was on the table waiting for her when she came into the kitchen. She told Can it looked so good and she was starving. She immediately dug into the food. Can watched her eat with a smile. He had never seen a woman with such an appetite. Little things like that are what made him love her so much. She was unique, and there was nothing fake about her. After they ate, they cleaned up the kitchen. Can went and got the first aid kit so he could bandage her head wound. Once that was complete, he gave her a quick kiss and headed for the shower. The warm water felt so good to Can. He would never admit to Sanem, but he was frightened when the avalanche happened. Not so much for him, but for her. He was her husband and it was his job to protect her. He felt like he failed her as a husband. He could have lost her for good and that is something he never wanted to do. There would be no more him if there was no more Sanem. He completed his shower and got dressed. He went in search of Sanem.

He found her asleep on the couch. She looked so peaceful, almost angel like. He walked over and pushed some hair out of her face. He gently caressed her face. He bent down and kissed her lips. He loved the feel and taste of her. He gently picked her up in his arms and carried her to bed. He laid her down and covered her up. Can turned off the night and laid down next to her. He drew her into his arms, and he buried his head in her neck. He inhales her fragrance which would carry him into his dreams.
