LOOSING HOPE

A JEALOUS CAN

She really missed being there at the agency and was so glad she was back. She now shared an office with Can. Sanem was so afraid he would get tired of seeing her. They see each other at home and now they would see each other at work. She didn't know about her husband, but she could be with him 24 hours a day 7 days a week. She would never get tired of him. Tonight, there was a presentation for some make up company that Can had been working on. There would be a party afterwards. Can wanted Sanem to go with him. Deren would be doing the presentation. Mihriban said she would come over and stay with the triplets so Can and Sanem could attend together. Can got a visit from one of the owners of the makeup company. He wanted to see the finished presentation before tonight. Can, Sanem and Deren took him to the conference room and went over the presentation. He was impressed and told them he couldn't wait until tonight.

That evening, Mihriban and Aziz showed up to stay with the triplets. Can waited for Sanem to finish getting ready. When she made her appearance, Can was speechless. She was dressed in a floor length red gown with one shoulder bare. Those lips matched her dress; a perfect kissable red. Her hair was free with tons of waves. He just wanted to run his hands through it. He thought maybe they could just skip the party and presentation and just stay home. He thought of other things they could do at home. Sanem smiled and asked if he was ready. Can could only nod his head. They headed to the truck and Can helped her up into it. Once Can entered the truck, he looked at Sanem. He told her she looked breathtaking tonight. Sanem said thank you. She told him he looked very attractive. Can said thank you, love.

They arrived at the presentation for the makeup company. The co-owner came up to them and told them welcome. He took them over to introduce them to the other owner of the company. The men were actually brothers. Ahmet introduced Can and Sanem to his brother, Cinar. Can shook his hand and said it was nice meeting him finally. Cinar couldn't seem to take his eyes off of Sanem. He took her hand and kissed hit. Cinar asked her what her name was. Sanem replied that her name was Sanem Divit, and she was Can's wife. She then grabbed her husband's hand. Cinar said it was very nice to meet her. Can just glared at him. Can and Sanem walked away to find their team. Can told Sanem to stay close to him. He did not trust the way Cinar was looking at her. Sanem said no problem. Can continued holding Sanem's hand throughout most of the party. It was time for Deren to do the presentation. Can and Sanem stood in the front to watch her. Cinar and Ahmet stood behind Can and Sanem. Cinar was actually standing behind Sanem. Every once in a while, Sanem would feel someone brush against her backside. She looked over her shoulder and saw Cinar standing there. Can had no idea what was going on. He was watching Deren.

Sanem stepped in front of Can and leaned back against him. Can whispered in her ear and asked if she was OK. Sanem said she was fine. She just wanted to lean against her handsome husband's chest. He kissed her cheek and told her anytime. He wrapped his arms around her and held her. Can happen to look over and saw Cinar standing behind the place where Sanem was once standing. He whispered in her ear and asked if something happened. Sanem smiled and said no, of course not. He said OK, but he knew something wasn't quite right. He let it go for now.

The presentation was soon over and Deren got a round of applause. Can felt she did an awesome job. Ahmet came up to Can with a smile on his face. He told Can wonderful job and he absolutely loved the completed presentation. Can smiled and said thank you. There was a live band playing and a slow song came on. Can held out his hand to his wife and she took it. He led her to the dance floor. He pulled her into his arms and held her close. They looked into each other's eyes while they danced. Sanem had her arms wrapped around his neck. Sanem happened to look up and saw Cinar staring at her with a strange look on his face. This man was really starting to really creep her out. Can looked to see what she was staring at. He saw Cinar staring at his wife and he didn't like it one bit.

A little later, Sanem excused herself to go to the restroom. Can kept his eye on Cinar who was following Sanem with his eyes. He watched Cinar follow Sanem after a few minutes. Can then followed Cinar. Cinar was heading straight to the restrooms, and then he stopped. Can ducked behind a huge plant. Sanem exited the restroom and Cinar blocked her way. Can heard Sanem say excuse me, but Cinar would still not budge. Cinar was telling Sanem how beautiful she looked tonight. Sanem politely said thank you. He reached out to caress Sanem's bare shoulder. Can heard him ask Sanem if she wanted to go someplace alone. By this time, Can had stepped out and stood behind Cinar. Sanem smiled and said I don't think my husband would like that very much. Cinar said it could be a secret between him and her. Can spoke up and said and me. He put his hand on Cinar's wrist and removed it from Sanem's arm. He got in Cinar's face and told him if he ever looked at his wife again, he would live to regret it. Cinar smiled and said no harm done. He said he meant nothing by it. Ahmet walked up to them. Ahmet asked what was going on. Can informed Ahmet he did not think they could do anymore business together. His brother had a roaming eye and wandering hands. Ahmet glared at this brother, Cinar. He asked his brother what he thought he was doing. Cinar said nothing. It was innocent and no harm was done. Can pointed at Cinar and told him he had been eyeballing his wife all night and then followed her to the bathroom; then he put his hands on my wife. Can grabbed Sanem's hand and said they were leaving.

They got in Can's truck and headed home. Sanem told Can she was sorry if she ruined their business deal. Can grabbed her hand and kissed it. He told her she did nothing wrong. He said he was proud of her. She handled herself very well with Cinar. She told Can she saw him come up behind Cinar and it gave her courage. They pulled into the driveway to their home. When they entered, the triplets were in bed for the night. Can offered to drive Mihriban and Aziz home, but they said they had already called a taxi. They bid them a goodnight and headed to their bedroom. Sanem kicked off her shoes and started to remove her dress but Can stopped her. He told her he has been dreaming of taking that dress off of her all night. Sanem smiled and said OK. Can walked over to her and found her zipper on the back. He slowly pulled the zipper down her back. He started kissing her neck and worked his way to her back. He whispered that she was so beautiful, and she was his. Sanem turned around and kissed her husband. She told Can she was his forever and ever.
