A NIGHT OUT FOR TWO

The next day, Can spoke with Mevkibe and Mihriban about watching the triplets while he takes Sanem out for evening. They said absolutely. Now Can needed to figure out where to take her. He had a wonderful idea, but it would be a surprise. He went in search of Sanem. He found her in the nursery rocking one of the triplets. She was singing to the baby. She had such a beautiful voice. Can just stood there and listened. Sanem finally looked up and saw him. She smiled and said hey. Can said hey. He asked what she was doing. Sanem told him she just wanted to hold her babies for a little while. He told Sanem they were going out tonight. Mevkibe and Mihriban will take care of the babies. Sanem smiled and asked where they were going. Can smiled and said it is a surprise. Sanem said OK.

Later that evening, Can and Sanem got in the truck and left. Sanem begged him to tell her where they were going. Can said nope. Can drove to the boardwalk where a carnival was going on. Sanem's eyes lit up. Can told her he felt like being a kid tonight. Sanem told him to look...there was a Ferris wheel. Can told her he knew and they were riding it together. Sanem told him she also wanted cotton candy. Can told her absolutely. They got out of the truck and walked hand in hand towards the boardwalk. Can immediately bought her cotton candy and they stood in line for the Ferris wheel. Can was feeding Sanem cotton candy and she in turn, was feeding him cotton candy. They got on the Ferris wheel. Can held her close to his side. He kissed her on the nose. Sanem told him this brings back memories of our first time together on a Ferris wheel. Can said he knows. She rested her head on his shoulder. When the ride was over, they exited the carriage.

Sanem wanted to ride the tunnel of love. Can said sure. They got into the little boat and they were off. The tunnel was dark, but Sanem felt safe and secure with her husband's arms around her. Can was kissing her neck and inhaling her scent. Sanem was giggling. She asked her husband if they were making out like teenagers. Can told her he was no hormonal teenager, but yes, he was making out with his wife. He started kissing her face and then her lips. He kissed her like there was no tomorrow. Sanem was moaning. Can continued kissing her, swallowing her moans. Can said nothing like making out with my wife, on a boat, in the dark. Sanem laughed. The ride ended too soon for Can, but they got off.

Can asked what she wanted to ride now. Sanem told him to choose. Of course, Can chose the fun house. They started out holding hands when they entered, then they got separated. It was dark inside the fun house and Sanem was a little nervous. She could not see 2 feet in front of her. Suddenly, someone grabbed her from behind. She new immediately it was not Can. This person held on tight while Sanem fought to break free. She was screaming at this person to let her go. She smelled alcohol on his breath. She continued screaming. Finally, the man was forced to let go of her. She heard him hit the ground. She was then in Can's arms. He asked if she was alright. Sanem said yes. She was just scared. The man got off the ground and apologized to Sanem. He told her he thought she was his wife. He asked for forgiveness. He said he meant no harm. Sanem told him she was OK, and he was forgiven. Can took her hand and led her the rest of the way through. He would not let go of her hand. Once they were out of the fun house, Can took her in his arms. He asked if she was OK. Sanem smiled at him and said she was fine. He didn't hurt her, just scared her. He asked her if she wanted to go home. She said no. She was having to much fun with him. There was a Turkish band playing, so Can went and got them something cold to drink while Sanem sat down to listen to the band. Can came back and sat down beside her. He threw his arm around her shoulders. They were playing a slow song and people were getting up to dance. Can stood up and put his hand out to Sanem. She smiled and took his hand. He led her to the dance area. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close. She in turn, wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on his chest. Can could hold her in his arms forever.

When the dance ended, he asked Sanem if she was hungry. Sanem smiled and said aren't I always. Can laughed and said come on, let's find you food. He took her hand and headed to the truck. Can held the door open for her and she hopped in. Can got behind the wheel and headed out. He asked her what she was in the mood for. Sanem said pizza. Can smiled and said of course. Can stopped at a local pizzeria. They went in and sat down. Can placed their order and got them both teas. He held her hands across the table. He asked her again if she was OK. Sanem told him she was fine. She was just scared when it happened, but it is over. She told him honest. Their pizza came and they dived into it. Can had always loved her appetite. He watched her with a smile. Sanem looked up and asked him what he was smiling about. Can said nothing. He was just enjoying the view. Sanem's face turned red. She said I just had 3 babies. I am still fat from giving birth. And I am going to have an ugly scar on my stomach from the C-section. I am definitely nothing to look at right now. Can stood up and move to the seat beside her. He put his finger under her chin and turned her face towards him. Right there in front of everyone, he kissed his wife passionately. When he lifted his head, he looked into her eyes and told her she just gave birth to his children. She couldn't look more beautiful then she did right at this moment. He told her she was not fat and the scar she carried on her body was her battle scar. The battle to bring their children into this world. He said I love you, Sanem; each and every inch of you. Don't ever forget that. Sanem looked at his face and knew he was speaking from his heart. She kissed him with everything she had in her. She said I love you, Can Divit. Can smiled at her and said I love you, Sanem Divit.

After they were through eating, Sanem told Can she was getting tired and she missed their babies. Can said let's go home, my beloved.
