ANGRY PARENTS

Can and Sanem got her suitcase from her parent's house and headed back to the farm. Can held her hand the whole way there. It was like he was afraid she would disappear if he let go. He brought her hand to his lips and kissed it. Sanem smiled at him. Can told her to promise to never let go of his hand...never. She promised she would never let go. When they arrived at the farm, Sanem would not let go of his hand. She scooted out of the truck on the driver's side. Can laughed at her and asked what she was doing. She said you told me to never let go of your hand. Can told her it was an expression and she could let go of his hand now. Sanem had a confused look on her face but let go of his hand. They went inside the house and Can told her to sit with him. Can faced her and told her what never let go of his hand meant. He told her it meant don't ever give up on me; don't ever leave me. Sanem smiled and said she understood now. He got close to her and kissed her deeply. He then told her he does not regret marrying her and never would. She was everything to him and he was nothing without her. He explained he felt like a failure when they got trapped in that cave and she got injured. He said marriage is a new thing for both of us. We are going to have ups and downs throughout our life together, but we will overcome them. Sanem smiled and OK.

Can then asked her if it was time to tell her parents that they are married? Sanem looked frightened. She told him her parents would be so disappointed in her. Can told her they loved her, and they would be upset at first, but they would get over it. We can have another wedding later with family, if that is what they wished. He told her you are my wife and I will always stand beside you, behind you or in front of you. Wherever you need me to be, I will be right there. Sanem told him OK. They could go over this evening and tell them. Can said that's my girl. Can embraced her and started kissing her. He ended up with his head buried in her neck. He kept nibbling, biting and licking. Sanem moaned her pleasure. Sanem jumped up and grabbed his hand. She told him to never let go of her hand and she pulled him up.

Sanem led him by the hand straight to their bedroom. Can kicked the door shut. Sanem lifted Can's shirt to remove it. He was now standing there looking like a Greek God. Sanem ran her hands over his chest and his albatross tattoo. He removed her sundress and it pooled at her feet. She was now standing there in her panties. Sanem reached over and undid his jeans. She pushed them down his muscled legs. Now he was standing there in just his camo boxers. Sanem walked backwards towards the bed. She fell back on the bed and Can came down on top of her. He started kissing her passionately. He told her he loved her. Sanem told him to show her. So, he did. They made love for hours, only stopping due to hunger. They got up and dressed. They both headed to the kitchen. Can made sandwiches and Sanem made her famous tea that Can loved. They ate and talked about everything. Can asked her if she was still OK about telling her parents about their marriage. Sanem told him yes. They needed to know. Can told her good. We will go there when are finished eating. Sanem said OK.

They headed back to her parent's house. Sanem was nervous and scared. She knew they were going to be so upset. They arrived at her parent's house and Sanem sat in the truck. She couldn't seem to get her legs to move. Can came around and helped her out of the truck. He grabbed her by the hand and told her she could do this. He said remember, I am beside you the whole time. They entered the house and went in search of her parents. They found them outside in their garden. Sanem and Can walked in hand in hand. She said Mom...Dad, can we talk to you? They said of course, children. Sanem and Can sat down across from them. Sanem said there is something we need to tell you. She told them her and Can got married almost 2 weeks ago. She explained they loved each other very deeply and wanted to be together. Her parents remained silent. She asked her parents to please say something. Her father was angry and asked her how she could do this? This was not the way we do things in our custom. He said permission must be given by him in order for them to marry and that did not happen. He started yelling and told Sanem she robbed her mother of the opportunity to plan the wedding and all the traditions that went along with it. Nihat jumped up and started walking towards Sanem. Can jumped up then and stood in front of Sanem to protect her. Can would not allow Nihat to strike Sanem in any way. Nihat told Can this was between him and his daughter. Can said she is my wife and it concerns me as well. Nihat told them they will divorce. Sanem stood up, grabbed Can's hand and told her father no. She loved Can and she would never divorce him. She looked at Can and said let's go. He grabbed her hand and they left her parent's house.

Sanem cried all the way back to the farm. When they got home, Can helped her out of the truck and they entered their home. Sanem flopped down on the couch and continued to cry. Can sat down beside her and held her. He told her they would eventually calm down and see their side of things. Sanem didn't think they would. She told him no matter what she would not divorce him. She wouldn't know how to survive without him being next to her. Can told her he wasn't going anywhere. They sat there on the couch for a while just holding each other. After a while, Can realized Sanem had fell asleep in his arms. He smiled at her sleeping form. He got up, picked her up in his arms and carried her to bed. He laid her down on the bed and covered her up. He kissed her cheek. He then went outside to breath some fresh air. He had to find a way to reunite Sanem with her angry parents. He thought it would be better to give them a few days to calm down. He would go talk to them and try to get them to see why they did what they did. He couldn't just stand by and see Sanem so upset and hurt. Her parents were her world. He went back inside and laid down beside his wife. He pulled her into his arms and held her tightly. He vowed he would fix this rift between her and her parents.
