LOOSING HOPE

YILDIZ IS SICK

Sanem awoke the next morning in her husband's arms. He definitely proved to her last night he was no old man. That man had more stamina then a panther. She didn't think he would ever loose that stamina. Sanem smiled to herself and buried her face in his chest. She ached in places she never knew she had. Dam that man on proving a point to her. She started giggling while her head was buried in his chest. Can slowly open his eyes and tightened his arms around her. He asked her what she was giggling about. Sanem told him nothing. Can told her to tell him. Sanem looked up at her husband and told him she was sore. Can started laughing. He told her to think twice before she called him an old man again. Sanem said she will never call him that again. Can pulled her up into his arms and kissed her deeply. He pulled back and looked into her eyes. He told her he loved her and to never, ever forget that. Sanem ran her hands through his beard and told him she loved him more than herself. Can made love to his wife again that morning. He would never get enough of this woman.

Sanem finally got out of bed slowly. She needed a hot shower for all the aches and pains she had. She jumped in the shower and ran the water as hot as she could stand it. It felt like heaven. She scrubbed her body clean and washed her hair. Once she was rinsed, she got out and wrapped a towel around her. It was still early yet to get the triplets up for school. She went back into her bedroom to dry off. She put her cream on ad then got dressed. She towel dried her hair and brushed it out. She looked over at her husband expecting him to still be asleep, but he was staring at her with a smile on his face. Sanem smiled and asked him what. He told her he was just admiring his beautiful wife. She said thanked him and then stood up. She told him she was going to start breakfast before the baby woke up. No sooner then she said that, he let out a wail. She told Can she spoke to soon. Can jumped up and put on a pair of shorts. He told her he would get Omer, so she could get breakfast for the triplets. Sanem gave him a quick kiss and told him thanks. Can went to get his little boy.

Once breakfast was started, Sanem woke the triplets up for school. The triplets got dressed and came to the dining room table to eat. Before long, the triplets were on their way to school. Can had dressed Omer and fed him his bottle. He tucked into his baby swing. Sanem had just finished making all the beds and was starting to clean up the kitchen from breakfast. Can went to get ready for work. He really didn't feel like going into the office today, but he had a lot of meetings planned today. When he was ready, he went in search of Sanem. He found her looking out the window in the kitchen, lost in thought. He came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. He asked what she was thinking about. Sanem sighed and said life. Sanem told him everyday seemed like the same thing. It kind of felt mundane...same routine day in and day out. Can asked if she was bored with her life. Sanem turned around and looked at her husband. She said she wasn't bored. She just felt she was stuck in this same cycle. She seemed to always be home and the walls were closing in on her. Can asked her if she wanted to come back to work. He reminded her they had a daycare center in the agency now. Sanem told him she didn't know what she wanted to do anymore. Can pulled her to him and asked if she was bored with him. Sanem laughed and told him she would never be bored with him. He was her life...her soul...her whole world. Can smiled and told her he felt the same way about her.

After Can left for the agency, Sanem was left alone with Omer. He had fallen asleep in his swing, so she picked him up and took him to his crib. She grabbed a cup of tea and went and sat on the balcony. She felt the need to get away. More like run away. She could not figure out what was wrong with her. She loved her husband. She loved her children. She actually loved the life her and Can had created together. She needed to do something with her life. But what?

Can could not get his thoughts off of Sanem while at the agency. He decided after his last meeting before lunch, he was going home. He was worried about the state of Sanem's mind this morning. He could not imagine being home all day with nothing to do except being a mother and wife. He knew his Sanem loved being useful and she no longer felt that way. He would go home and talk to her. His next meeting was with a fragrance company. They needed advertising for their company. After talking with the CEO of the company, Can came up with an idea. Sanem makes her own creams and baby lotions. What if Sanem started her own business using her creams, lotions and perfumes? He would talk to her about it when he got home.

Soon, Can was pulling into the driveway. He got out of his truck and entered the house. He found Sanem sitting in the living room writing in her notebook. Can sat down beside her and asked if she was OK. Sanem looked up and smiled at her husband. She said she was OK. Can told her he wanted to run something by her. Sanem said OK and put her notebook down. Can asked her what she thought about starting her own business. Sanem asked what he meant. Can told her about talking with the CEO of a fragrance company today and thought Sanem would enjoy starting her own business, using her creams, perfumes and fragrances. Sanem just looked at Can. She told him she never really thought about it. She made her creams for fun because she enjoyed it. She never really thought about opening a business with them. Can told her to think about it. She said she would think about it. Can leaned over and kissed her. When he lifted his head, he told her he just wanted her to be happy. Sanem told him she was happy. She loved him and their children. She just did not feel useful anymore. It was like she just existed to take care of her family anymore. She felt there was something missing in her life. Can told her he understood. He told her to think about what he said. She said she would. Can told her he would make dinner tonight, so she could take a break. Sanem thanked him.

Soon, the kids were getting off the school bus and entering the house. Deniz told her mother that Dhyana wanted her to sleep over at her house this weekend. Sanem said she would call her mother later to make sure it is OK. Deniz told her OK and then headed to her room to do her homework. Sanem went to the kitchen to see if Can needed any help. He told her he had everything under control. She told him Dhyana wanted Deniz to spend the weekend with her. Sanem told him she would call Dhyana's mother later to make sure it was OK. Can said it sounded good to him. Sanem said she would check on Ates and Yildiz to see if they had any homework. Can said OK. Sanem checked on Ates first. He was busy doing his homework. She then checked on Yildiz and she was asleep on her bed. Sanem thought that was funny because that girl never slept. Sanem felt her head and it was very warm. She woke Yildiz up and asked her if she was feeling alright. Yildiz said her tummy hurt. Sanem told her she was going to get the thermometer to check her temperature. Sanem ran to the bathroom and grabbed it and ran back to Yildiz's bedroom. Sanem took her temperature and it was extremely high. She gave her a dose of the medicine.

Sanem went and told Can that Yildiz was sick. Can went to check on his baby girl. He grabbed a cool cloth on his way to her bedroom. He sat down beside her and placed the cool cloth on her forehead. She looked up at her daddy and told him her belly hurt. Can kissed her forehead and told her he knew. He told her he would make her some chicken noodle soup with a Sprite to settle her stomach. She said OK. Can went back to the kitchen, but Sanem had already opened a can of chicken noodle soup and poured her a Sprite. Can told her great minds think alike. Sanem asked what he meant. Can said he was coming to get her some soup and Sprite. Sanem smiled. She told Can if the medicine didn't kick in soon, she would help bathe her in a lukewarm bath to try and break her fever. Can said OK. Can put dinner on the table for Deniz, Ates, him and Sanem. Sanem took the soup and Sprite to Yildiz. She got her to sit on the edge of the bed with a TV tray in front of her. Sanem told her to eat as much as she could, and she would be back to check on her. Yildiz just nodded.

Sanem sat down with Can, Deniz and Ates to eat her dinner. She heard Yildiz running to the bathroom and she jumped up to follow her. Yildiz was vomiting in the toilet. Sanem held her hair back from her face. Yildiz told her mommy that her tummy hurt bad. Sanem told her they were going to have to go to the emergency hospital. Yildiz said OK. Sanem went to tell Can. Can called Mihriban and his dad to see if they could come sit with the kids so they could take Yildiz to the emergency hospital. They told Can they would be there as fast as they could. Soon, Can and Sanem were on their way to the hospital with Yildiz.
