CAN MEETS AN OLD FRIEND

The next day after the school bus picked the kids up, Can and Sanem headed into the office. Mr. Ferit and his son, Hakan were waiting in their office. As soon as Can and Sanem entered, Can immediately told them to leave right now. Mr. Ferit said he brought his son because he had something to say to Mrs. Sanem. Hakan looked at Sanem and apologized for what he did to her yesterday. He said he was out of line with her and begged her forgiveness. Can just glared at him. Sanem said nothing. She moved over beside her husband and took his hand. Can felt her trembling. Can told him he said what needed said, so he could leave now. Mr. Ferit said he wished to continue working with Can's agency. Can told him it was impossible if his son, Hakan was involved in the campaign. Mr. Ferit promised his son would no longer be involved and he would no longer enter the agency. Can told him he would think about it and give him an answer by the end of today. Mr. Ferit thanked Can for his time. Mr. Ferit and Hakan left their office. Can asked Sanem if she was OK. Sanem smiled and said she was. Hakan just gave her the creeps. Can asked her what she thought of the situation with Mr. Ferit. Sanem told him she would leave the decision up to him and she would back him 100%. Can gave her a quick kiss.

Meanwhile at school, Deniz and Dhyana were enjoying each other's company. They were in the same class together and sat beside each other. Deniz really liked her. She was cool. Dhyana went everywhere with Deniz. If one went to the restroom, the other went to. They had each other's back. It had been a while since Deniz actually felt safe enough to use the restroom without being attacked. They were in the restroom when Jasmine and her friends entered the facility. Deniz was washing her hands and Dhyana was using the restroom. Jasmine starting calling Deniz names, which Deniz ignored. She continued washing her hands. Jasmine asked her if she was deaf and dumb. Deniz continued to ignore her. Jasmine mentioned her mother knew her parents. Deniz still did not respond. She told Deniz that her mother and Deniz's father had a thing for each other at one time. Deniz finally spoke up and told Jasmine she was a liar. Jasmine pushed Deniz against the wall with her arm against Deniz's throat. Dhyana came out of the toilet and pulled Jasmine off of Deniz. She then stood in front of Deniz. Dhyana was bigger than all the girls in that bathroom. She told Jasmine to back off. Jasmine told her this was none of her business. Dhyana told her it was now. Jasmine and her friends started moving towards Deniz and Dhyana.

Dhyana stood with her little legs a part and her arms in some sort of pose. As soon as Jasmine and her friends got close enough, Dhyana kicked out. She swept Jasmine's legs out from under her and she fell down. The other girls got scared and ran out of the bathroom. Dhyana told Jasmine this would be the last time she bullied Deniz. She asked Jasmine if she understood. Jasmine nodded with tears in her eyes. She ran from the bathroom. Deniz asked Dhyana what did she just do with her legs. Dhyana smiled and told Deniz her father teaches karate and she has been learning since she was old enough to walk. Deniz said that was awesome and she wanted to learn karate. Dhyana said to ask her parents and her father could put her in his class. Deniz said she would ask them tonight. They left and went back to class.

Back at the agency, Can and Sanem were working in their office. Emre and Leyla came in. Emre asked if Can was going to continue working with Mr. Ferit. Can told Emre he had not decided. He did not want Sanem involved with the campaign if he decided to keep him as a client. Can said he actually did not want involved in the campaign either. Emre suggested letting him, Leyla and Deren handle the campaign. Can smiled and said that might work. Emre told Can he would call Mr. Ferit and explain it to him. Can thanked his brother. When the word day was over, Can and Sanem headed home to meet the school bus. They watched as their children got off the bus. Once again, Deniz was all smiles. Dhyana put her window down and told Deniz goodbye and not to forget to ask her parents. Deniz told her goodbye and she wouldn't forget to ask.

When Deniz reached her parents, Sanem asked what she needed to ask them. Deniz asked if they could go inside and sit down first? Sanem smiled and said of course. So, Can, Sanem and Deniz went and sat down in the living area. Can told her to ask what she needed. Deniz told her parents she wanted to learn karate. Can and Sanem just stared at each other. Sanem asked if something happened today at school. Deniz smiled and said yes, but Dhyana saved her. Deniz proceeded to tell them what happened at school today. Sanem looked over at Can. Can asked where Deniz learned karate. Deniz told her dad that Dhyana's dad teaches karate and she has been learning since she could walk. Sanem told Deniz she wasn't sure about all this. She told Deniz karate could be dangerous if a person could not control what they are doing. Deniz looked sad and said OK. She started to walk away but her dad stopped her. Can said how about this...let's go meet Dhyana's dad and see what he has to offer. Sanem was OK with this idea. He told Deniz to call Dhyana and see if they could come talk to her father now. Deniz said OK. She called Dhyana and she said it was fine and to come on over. Can got directions and him and Deniz drove over there.

Once they arrived, they exited the truck and went to the door. A man answered the door with a smile. He immediately said Can Divit. Can smiled and hugged the man. Can said Omer, how have you been? Omer said he was good. He invited them inside. Omer said Dhyana explained to him that Deniz was interested in learning karate. Can said yes, she was, but his wife was a little leery. Omer told him it was understandable. He said if karate was used safely, it could end up being deadly. Omer said he teaches the kids about the safety of karate. Omer told Can that his daughter explained what happened in the restroom today. He told Can that Dhyana could have injured this little girl, if she wanted to, but decided to just sweep her legs out from under her. He told Can he did not condone his daughter using karate on another child, but he was proud of her for standing up for her friend. Omer invited can and Deniz to his next karate class, which was tomorrow evening. He told Can he could observe and then decide whether he wanted Deniz to participate. Can said that was a great idea. He would also bring his wife, Sanem along. Omer said that would be fine. They shook hands and then Deniz and Can left. Deniz was all smiles. She told her dad thank you for coming here and talking to Dhyana's dad. Can told her he would do anything for his little princess.

They arrived back home just in time for dinner. Can explained what Omer and him had talked about. Sanem said she was looking forward to checking this place out tomorrow. She said if she was impressed, maybe they would let Ates and Yildiz join the class. Can smiled and said that sounded great. Ates and Yildiz said they wanted to learn too. Sanem told her kids that would see what it was all about tomorrow evening.
