CAN PLAYS MR. MOM

The next morning at the agency, Sanem went to find Defne to ask how her date with Metin was. Sanem found her and asked how her date was. Defne said it was wonderful. She really liked Metin and he was so good to Kamen. Sanem asked if there was a second date in the works. Defne told her she didn't know. Metin had not asked for a second date. Sanem found that odd that Metin didn't ask Defne out for a second time. She would have to ask him about it. Sanem went back to the office she shared with Can. Can was on his laptop going over his emails. Can looked up when Sanem entered. Can asked her how the date went with Defne and Metin. Sanem told him what Defne said. Sanem asked him if it was unusual for a man to not ask out a woman for a second date, before the first date ended. Can told her he had no clue. He told her he has been out of the dating scene for quite a while now. Sanem laughed and said her too.

Later that day, Metin arrived to Can's office. Sanem smiled at Metin and asked how the date went. Metin told Sanem he had a really good time. He really liked Defne and Kamen was an awesome kid. Sanem asked him when the next date was. Metin admitted he had not asked her out again. Sanem asked Metin what was stopping him. Metin said he wasn't sure Defne was all that interested in him. Sanem asked why he would say such a thing. Metin told her it was a vibe he got from her. Sanem explained that Defne was divorced and was raising Kamen on her own. Defne has not dated anyone since before she got married. Apparently, Kamen's dad chooses not to contact Kamen. So, Defne has had it hard since the divorce. Sanem told Metin she was probably just taking things slow. Sanem told him that Defne had a very nice time on the date. Metin smiled and said really. Sanem said really. Sanem suggested he ask her out again, if that is what he wanted. Metin told Sanem he would do that.

Can and Sanem decided to stay in the office and order lunch in today. Can ordered their food, then they continued to work until their food arrives. They had a few campaigns to look over and decide whether they wanted to accept them. Defne texted Sanem and told her Metin had telephoned her and asked her out for a second date. Sanem told her that was great. Sanem asked her if she was going. Defne told her of course. She just needed to find a babysitter for Kamen. Metin wanted to take her out for dinner and dancing. Sanem told her to let her know what day and she would keep Kamen. She told her Ates would love to have a sleep over with his best buddy. Defne told her wonderful and she would let her know what day for sure. Sanem told Can it looked like date #2 was being planned. Can smiled at his little matchmaker wife.

The workday was almost over. Sanem was feeling wiped out today. She never slept well last night and it was catching up with her. She usually sleeps like a baby when her husband was holding her. She hoped she wasn't coming down with something. Soon, they were picking the kids up from day care and headed home. Can asked her if she was OK. She seemed a little off today. Sanem smiled at her husband and told him she was just tired. She admitted to not sleeping well last night. He told her if she needed a nap when they got home, then go take one. He would handle dinner and the kids. Sanem asked if he was sure. Can told her absolutely. Sanem told him she would take him up on that. It just felt like she was falling asleep standing up. After they got home, Sanem went to lay down. Can decided to order pizza for dinner. It was the kids' favorite food and it would be an easy clean up. The kids were playing quietly in their rooms, when the pizza arrived. After Can had the table set, he called for the kids. He went to check on Sanem and found her sleeping like a baby. He let her sleep a little longer and went back to the dining room with the kids. After the kids were done eating, they went to play. Can thought he better wake Sanem up or she wouldn't sleep tonight. When he opened the door to their bedroom, she was no longer in bed. He heard her being sick in the bathroom. He opened the door to the bathroom, and she was bent over the toilet. He pulled her hair into a ponytail and held it while she emptied her stomach. When she done, Can got a cool washcloth and started wiping her face. He asked her if she was OK. Sanem told him she felt awful. He told her to take a warm shower and he would be back in a few minutes.

Can went to check on the kids. They were playing quietly in their rooms. He came back to where Sanem was. She was in the shower but leaning against the wall. Can quickly stripped his clothes off and got in the shower with her. He started washing and conditioning her hair. Once her hair was rinsed, he washed her body. He then rinsed her off. He turned off the shower and got out. He wrapped a towel around the lower half of his body, then wrapped Sanem in a towel. He walked her to the bed and sat her down. He quickly put some clothes on, then came back to dry Sanem. He helped her get dressed in her pajamas and towel dried her hair. He kissed her forever and noticed she felt a little warm. He gave her some fever reducer pills. He then tucked her back into bed. He laid down beside her for a few moments. She gave him a small smile and said thank you. He kissed her nose and told her he was going to get the kids bathed and ready for bed. She said OK. Once the kids were bathed and in bed for the night, Can cleaned up the kitchen and made Sanem some tea. He took her the tea.

He helped her sit up and she drank some of the tea. He asked her how she was feeling. She told him her whole body ached. Can told her if she was no better by tomorrow then he was taking her to the doctor. He knew Sanem was really sick, because she did not argue. Can laid down beside his wife and held her while stroking her hair. He soon fell asleep beside her. In the morning, Can woke up and Sanem was no longer in the bed with him. He went looking for her. He found her in the kitchen, starting breakfast. He came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. He asked her how she was feeling this morning. She said she felt better. She no longer had a fever and she was not nauseated. She told Can she was not going into the agency today. She just didn't feel like it. Can told her that was fine. He was staying home with her today. Sanem smiled at her husband and told him that wasn't necessary. Can said it was necessary. He told her with a smile, that it was his job to protect and care for his family and that included his beautiful wife. He told her he would help keep the kids in line today, so she could recover. She said OK. He kissed her cheek. He told her to go sit down and drink her tea. He would take care of breakfast. She nodded and went and sat in the living area.

Can fixed breakfast and got the kids fed. He told the kids to go change out of their pajamas. He went to check on Sanem. She was reading a book while sipping her tea. He asked her if she needed anything. She smiled and said no, she was good. Can went to clean up the kitchen. When he was done, he came back and sat down beside Sanem. He had her lay down with her head in his lap. He finger combed her hair. He loved the feel of her hair. She told him he was going to put her to sleep. He told her to go to sleep. She still needed rest. She grabbed one of Can's hands and held it while she drifted off to sleep.
