Once they returned to the truck, Sanem asked Can to please take her home. She was tired and felt like a nap. Can told her she agreed to spend the day with him. Sanem told him she knew but she had changed her mind. She told him spending time together wasn't going to change anything between them. It seemed they would be wasting their time. Can was hurt by her words but agreed to take her home. When they pulled into the drive at the farm, Can noticed a young man sitting on Sanem's front steps. Sanem noticed him too. She opened her door and ran to him. The young man stood up when he saw Sanem. Sanem threw her arms around him and he picked her up and swung her around. Can didn't like this. He didn't like it one bit. Can could not understand why he was feeling this way. He doesn't remember ever feeling jealous over a woman. He decided to walk over to the two of them. Sanem was still embracing this young man. When Sanem saw Can, she asked him if he forgot something. Can said no and he stuck his hand out and introduced himself to this young man. The young man said his name was Sinan. He said he had been friends with Sanem since elementary school. They were best friends. He told Can he use to play football with Sanem, and he remembers her little red shorts. Can did not like this feeling he was having. He literally wanted to choke this guy. He heard Sinan tell Sanem she was still as beautiful as ever. Can could not take anymore of this, so he walked away.

Sanem watched him walked away and could not figure out what was wrong with him. She invited Sinan into her house. They talked over drinking tea. Sinan told her he was a model now and traveled all around the world. He came back to Istanbul to visit his family and decided to look her up. He was here for 2 days and then he was traveling to another modeling assignment. He asked Sanem to do something with him tonight. They could go out to eat and maybe catch a movie. Sanem told him sure. He said he would go get a shower and change, then he would be back to pick her up. Sanem said OK.

Can saw Sinan drive off and was not happy about it. Can settled down on his balcony to read a book he picked up. A few hours later, he heard a car pull in. It was that Sinan guy again. He got out of his car and went to Sanem's. A few minutes later, Sanem came out of the house with Sinan. She looked so beautiful. He watched as Sinan opened the passenger door for her and she got in. They immediately drove away. Can was fuming. Sanem had went out on a date. How could she do that if she loved him so much? Can was more confusion than ever. Can paced pretty much the whole evening, waiting for Sanem to return. It was hours later, when he heard the car pull up. He watched Sinan walk Sanem to her door. He watched as they embraced. He watched when they shared a short kiss. Can punched the wall, outside his house. Then, he watched as Sinan left.

Can immediately went to Sanem's house. She was making herself a cup of tea. Can immediately asked where she has been. Sanem just stared at him. She asked him what right he had to ask. Can told her that she loved him and that gave him rights. Sanem told him he had no rights. Just because she loved him didn't give him the right to know her business. She told Can he had no feelings for her. His heart erased them, she said. She told Can she was getting on with her life, without him. She said she couldn't stay in a one-sided relationship. It wasn't healthy and she didn't want to end up back in a mental hospital. She told him when she was there before, they fed her heart, brain and soul medication. But she couldn't erase her feelings for him. He erased his feelings for her in a short time. Sanem asked him to explain how something like that could happen. Can told her he couldn't explain; except he had a brain injury that took away 2 years of his life. She looked at him and said, if you had really loved me at all, your soul would not have forgotten me...erased me. Can just looked at her and then walked away. Sanem started crying. This was tearing her a part. She would never love another man, like she loved Can.
