The next morning, Can awoke before Sanem. He gently got out of bed and grabbed his cell phone. He went it the bathroom and texted Omer. He explained what was happening with Sanem and asked Omer if he could come to the hotel in a few hours to talk to Sanem. Omer immediately texted back and said of course; he would be there. Can left the bathroom and found Sanem sitting up in bed with a wild look on her face. Can immediately went to the bed and sat down beside her. He asked her what was wrong. Sanem looked at him and said it was just a nightmare. Can put his arms around her and held her. She was trembling. Can asked her if she wanted him to order room service for their breakfast. Sanem nodded. Can kissed the top of her head. Sanem went to the bathroom while Can ordered room service. Sanem jumped in the shower in hopes of it making her feel better. When she was done, she got out and dried off. She wrapped a towel around her and went in search of clothes. Can was sitting on the bed reading when she entered the room. She went through the bags that Can bought and found some clothes. She applied her lotion then put her clothes on. She towel dried her hair and then ran a brush through it. She felt a little more human now.

Soon, their breakfast arrived. Can set it up on the little table in their room. Sanem sat down across from him. She pieced at her food. Can told her she had to eat. She had to think about their unborn son. Sanem nodded and forced the food into her body. She had no appetite, but Can was right. She had to take care of herself in order to take care of their son. She finished her breakfast and started drinking her tea. She noticed Can was not saying very much this morning. She asked if he was OK. Can smiled and nodded. He told Sanem he had a lot on his mind. Sanem asked if he wanted to talk about it. Can shook his head no and told her he would figure it all out. Sanem quietly said OK. She stood up and put her dishes back on the serving cart. She went and stood at the window looking out over Istanbul. Can came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. He asked her if she was OK now. Sanem said she was fine. She turned around in Can's arms and hugged him. She told Can she just needed to come to terms with what happened. She said she was slowly getting to that point. Can kissed the top of her head. There was a knock at their door. Can went to answer it. Can opened the door and Omer stood there. Can greeted him and invited him into the room.

Sanem turned away from the window and saw Omer standing there. She walked over to him and shook his hand. She said good morning, Mr. Omer. Omer told Sanem to please call him just Omer. Sanem nodded. She asked him why he was there. Omer said he came to talk to her. He had to explain something to her and wanted to know if she would take a walk with him. Sanem looked at Can and he nodded his OK. Sanem looked at Omer and told him she would put her shoes on. They were soon walking along the seaside. Omer found a big rock and sat down on it. Sanem sat down beside him. Omer told Sanem he was sorry. Sanem asked what he was sorry for. He saved her and her family. Omer told Sanem he needed to come clean to her and be honest. Sanem nodded. Omer said he killed Hakan, not because he had to, but because he wanted too. He felt it was the only way to keep Sanem and her family safe in the near future. Omer explained that Hakan would have gotten out of prison eventually and it would have started all over again. Sanem just stared at him. She asked how he knew that would have happened. Omer took a deep breath and explained. He told Sanem it had happened to him and his family. Sanem put her hand over his and asked if he wanted to talk about it. Omer smiled at Sanem and said he has never spoken to anyone about what happened, but he would tell her.

Omer said he was married to the love of his life. He worshiped her. She was his everything. She was carrying their first child. He told Sanem he couldn't remember a time he was ever that happy. He said she worked part time in a realtor agency. A male co-worker became obsessed with her. He stalked her, sent her gifts, texted her. He would just not leave her alone. He was eventually caught before he could get to his wife. He went to prison, but he eventually got out on a technicality and it started all over again. This time around nobody was there to save his wife and unborn child. He killed his wife and unborn child. He then took his own life. Omer told Sanem he was left with nothing. He was now an empty shell because no woman would ever take the place of his precious wife. He let her down. He let his unborn child down. He looked at Sanem and told her he would never let anyone down again. He could not let Hakan got to prison to just get out and do it all over again. He just couldn't take the risk. Sanem was crying silent tears by this time. She leaned over and embraced Omer. Omer hugged her back. He told Sanem he was so sorry. He should have let her know what he was planning before he did it. Sanem shook her head no. She told Omer he did what he felt was right at the time. He saved her. He saved her husband. He saved her kids. More importantly he saved her unborn son. She would never blame him for what he did. She was grateful. She thanked him for telling her his story. She told Omer she was so sorry for his loss. Omer told her thank you. Omer told Sanem he wanted her to understand why he did what he did. He did not want her living with guilt. It was his guilt to live with, not hers. Sanem nodded that she understood. They got up and Omer walked her back to her hotel suite. Can was waiting for them when they arrived. Omer bid them both goodbye and he left the hotel.

Sanem ran to Can and hugged him with tears running down her face. Can asked if she was alright? Sanem said she was going to be fine. He asked why she was crying. They sat down and Sanem told him the story that Omer told her. Can had tears in his eyes, once Sanem finished telling him. Can said he could not even imagine losing the love of his life and his unborn child. He told Sanem he didn't think he would survive this life without her. He told she was the glue that held their family together. Can said he owes Omer everything for what he did to protect his family. He would be forever grateful to the man. Sanem stood on her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around Can's neck. She kissed him passionately. When she pulled back, she told her husband she loved him, and she wouldn't survive this world without him either. He was her everything. Can kissed her deeply.
