The moment I turned my head towards her direction, the first thing that I had noticed were the changes in her appearance. They could kill Leandro and I wouldn't even give a damn but Sapphire was here. I couldn't risk her safety. Besides, no matter how I loathed this man, I couldn't remove the fact that he was still the father of the woman I love.

Leandro was confident to walk unarmed in my own territory because he knew how coward I could be when brat was around. My father-in-law was getting on my fucking nerves.

"B-brat..." Lush held my shoulder firmly—restricting me from taking a step forward. I didn't move but my gaze was fixed on brat despite the noises around. Kahit malinaw na sa akin ang mga nangyayari pinili ko pa ring magbulag-bulagan. It was better this way—pretending nothing was wrong when in fact, everything was fucked up.

Hindi niya pinansin si Lush na halos magmakaawa na sa kanyang tabi. Lush kept on holding her hands but she pushed him away. While Leandro looked at the two with amusement. I was the King but I knew in this situation, they would choose to follow Dad's command once he ordered something. Afterall, my judgement was already clouded from my strong emotion. Just please, Dad... don't let them hurt my brat.

"Dad, please just s-stop..." Lush continued to beg.

Sapphire's voice brought me shivers.

"How's your mother and sister, by the way?" She grinned when she noticed the obvious pain in my eyes. She crossed her arms. "Too bad... I was planning to let them bleed to death but someone saw them. Epic failed."

"You tried to kill my daughter and wife?"

"Holy shit! You did that, ugly girl?"

"Sappy, what are you talking about? Daughter? Isa lang ang kapatid na babae ni Davil? M-matagal nang patay si Honey!"

"Putangina! Hindi kinaya ng abs ko ang mga rebelasyon!"
