CHAPTER 74

"Damn it! Open this fucking goddamn door!"

I was shouting non-stop while kicking and punching the door—as if my violent outburst would open it. After being held captive by my own father, tied with many ropes around my body while he was confessing every informations I had tried so hard to hide from my brat, everything turned into a fucking disaster.

I struck another punch in the door when I remembered Saunder and that fucking Fucker. I felt the sticky blood on my knuckles but it wouldn't stop me from punching this piece of crap! I felt so betrayed!

I will never forgive Saunder if something happened to my brat! Hindi man lang siya nag-isip! Tangina! Dinala niya ang babaeng minamahal ko sa mismong lugar kung saan gusto ko siyang ilayo.

I pulled my hair with too much frustration. I pace back and forth inside the room where they detained me—punching the walls around. I kept on shouting until my throat hurts but no one heard it. I didn't know how long I stayed screaming my heart out, begging them to let me out.

Nanginginig at puno na ng mga sugat ang aking mga kamao nang tuluyan akong huminto sa pagsuntok. Nanghihina akong napaupo habang sapo-sapo ang aking mukha. Tears started falling from my eyes. I started to panic while thinking of what might happen to brat right now. Her parents were cunning and evil. They would use even their daughter for the sake of money and power. I couldn't accept the fact that I was being helpless and pathetic in this situation where she needed me the most.

"Davil..."

I was lost in the abyss of my thoughts that I didn't notice my father's presence. Nag-angat ako ng tingin sa kaniya kasabay ng pagtulo ng panibagong mga butil ng luha. I immediately averted my gaze when he looked at me with pity. Kaagad akong tumayo nang nagtangka siyang hawakan ako. My gaze wandered around the room. It used to be the detention room for the Chaosers who violated the curfew. But since the handbook was revised and there was no curfew anymore, this room became useless. Puting kwarto lamang ito. Walang kahit anong bintana at kagamitan sa loob. The door was the only entry and exit route. Kaya kung kailangan kong sirain ang pintong gawa sa matigas na metal para lang makalabas dito ay hindi ako magdadalawang isip. It was my only way out.

I clenched my fists tightly and struck punches.

"Enough, Davil!"

Mas lalong humahapdi ang aking mga kamao sa lakas ng bawat mga suntok ko. I could even feel my knuckles cracking from the force I exerted.

I was expecting for his outburst when I almost crawled desperately towards the door but he did the opposite. He sat in front of me—blocking my way to the door—with sorrow on his face.
