Midoriya actually laughed at me. "And what are you gonna do? Beat me up? You know everyone would just be mad at you for hurting their beloved green cinnamon roll."

"Bakugo would back me up. He obviously knows the truth, too," I pointed out.

"Clearly, he does, and you don't know the half of it. But he won't say anything. After all, he hasn't so far, and we've gotten pretty far along in this, haven't we?" Deku laughed again. "Besides, you don't want a scene. Why would Kacchan want to be saved twice? And in front of the whole class, at that? From someone as weak and pathetic and useless as me? You know what that would make him?"

I was shaking, I was so pissed. But Deku was right. So how could I do this quietly? That wasn't exactly my specialty.

"It would make him nothing. But hey, that's already more than fucking usual. So go ahead, make a big deal out of this if you want," Midoriya finally moved away from Bakugo after pushing him hard one last time with his foot.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" I asked in all seriousness as he walked up to me.

"I've got a whole list, would you like it alphabetically or chronologically?" He crossed his arms, trying to stare me down.

"You sick bastard," I whispered. "Bakugo, please," I looked back at my friend, who was still huddled on the ground in a defeated pile of the shadows of who he used to be.

Slowly he looked back up at me. "No, Kiri. I can't. Just go back to Sparky and forget about this. I'll be fine."

"Like hell I'll just go back," I growled. "I'm not going anywhere without you."

Suddenly the door swung open. "Ei, you're taking a long fucking time in here, you know I get para... noid..." Denki yawned, looking around at the situation in front of him.

"Fuck, not another one," Deku muttered angrily. "I'm not going over this shit again. Just get out."

"Uh... Ei? You were here first, explain," Denki asked, but I just stood there, unmoving, with my hand extended to Bakugo.

The only thing I said was "We're not leaving anytime soon if you're just gonna sit there, bro. Get the fuck away from Deku."

"Eh?" Denki turned to me in shock. Right, he was still confused. I didn't know what he was thinking, but I doubted he was reading the atmosphere of the room right.

"You really want me to explain it all?" Deku asked in a mocking tone. He turned to look down at Bakugo. "How about you do it, hmm? The same way I did. You always say it better, anyway."

My eyes widened. "You make him say that bullshit on a regular basis? About himself?"

"What the fuck is going on?" Denki asked. I think he was starting to understand who the bad guy was, though.

"Say it out loud if you want to go, Kacchan. I'll let you leave if you tell Kaminari, promise," Deku smirked. "Just tell him what it is that you know you are and I'll leave you alone tonight."

"Ei, I suddenly don't like Midoriya," Denki muttered. There was still no real response from Bakugo.

"See, I told you, he's staying with me—" Deku started to brag, but was cut off when Bakugo finally said it.

"I'm nothing," he whispered.

"What was that? Couldn't hear you," Midoriya taunted.

"I fucking said that I'm nothing! Absolutely fucking nothing, the dirt on your shoes, whatever! Happy?" Bakugo yelled. Well, he sounded like he'd be yelling if he had any sort of a voice. He got up to his feet. "Can I go now?"

"By all means, get the fuck out of my sight," Deku spat, clearly unhappy that his 'boyfriend' had 'betrayed' him, and Bakugo rushed right out the door.

"We will get you for this, I swear," I growled at Deku, then dragged Denki out of the bathroom with me.

"Ei, what was that?" Denki asked.

"Deku's been an asshole to Bakugo for a long time now, apparently," I said quickly, then called out to Bakugo, who was walking away from us as quickly as possible. "Bro, wait up! At least let us walk with you."

The poor guy... I felt so bad for him. I knew he wouldn't want me to pity him, but I couldn't help it. And how long has that been going on? The mental abuse? The physical abuse, too, I could only assume. And he didn't even argue when I called out, he just stood there limply. Holy shit, I almost wanted him to keep running away. At least then I'd know he was alive. But he waited for us to catch up with him. We sped up because we were a bit behind him.

We stopped next to him. "Are you okay, 'Suki?" I asked.

He looked up, raising an eyebrow. He wiped at one of his eyes with a sweater paw. If he wasn't so broken, I might even say it was cute. "'Suki?"

"Yeah! I feel like if you're gonna have a nickname, it's not gonna be 'Kacchan' or whatever dumb shit," I shrugged.

He took a deep breath before shaking his head. "I'm not okay, to answer your question," he admitted. "Why would you bother helping me?"

"Because, Blasty, you needed it. Why else?" Denki asked honestly. 'Suki stared absently at the ground in front of him as we started to walk again. "You don't honestly think we'd ever look down on you, right? Trust me when I say it, bro, you mean a lot to us."

"You're just saying that," he sighed.

"Didn't I just say to trust me? I know I wasn't there the whole time, and I'm really sorry I made you feel like you had to say anything like that. But Blasty, you're so fucking awesome and you're not being fair to yourself. Deku was way outta line," he reassured him.

"Yeah, you really are the best," I nodded. I bit my lip, thinking hard about what I was about to say. I figured though, if there was any time to say it, it was now. "I'm sorry. I could've saved you so much pain if I had told you back then, but... I really like you, 'Suki. Like, as a crush. I almost told you at the party, too, but Deku beat me to it," I admitted. I looked between him and Denki.
