"Tae I already told you I'm okay I can walk on my own."
"And risk you getting hurt again? Not a chance," I reply making my way inside Jin's room. "You just got out of the hospital. I don't want something happening that causes us to go back." I say as I place him on his bed. I turn to close the door when a piece of paper catches my eye. I pick it up and see a phone number scribbled on it.
"Something wrong?" I hear him say as he shifts around on his bed. I contemplate hiding the paper from him, and pretend to just be tying my shoe, but decide against it.
"This must've fallen out of your pocket," I hand him the paper trying not to show how much it bothers me.
"Its Sandeul's number."
"Sandeul?"
"Dr. Lee," I knew I didn't like the way that doctor looked at him. "It's nothing to worry about. He was giving me advice and-"
"You don't have to explain anything." I interrupt. "If you say it's nothing to worry about, then I believe you." Even though I'm filled with rage, I won't allow myself to repeat the same mistake I made. I have to trust him. Even if I can't fully trust the people around him.
His hands cups my cheeks and soothingly rubs his thumb on my skin. "When did you become so mature?" He teases.
"When I realized how much of an idiot I acted towards you," I reply leaning close to him, resting my forehead against his. He tilts his head slightly and leans in closer. Our lips brush against each other tenderly.
I take my time enjoying the soft silky texture of his lips. I want to take in this moment and never forget it. The way he feels against me.
I let go of his mouth to give his forehead a quick kiss and gently move him aside so I can lay next to him. I pull him close to me wrapping my arms around him.
"Don't you have anything to do today? I don't want to keep you from important responsibilities you have to attend," he says mumbling, drifting off to sleep.
"There's nothing more important than you," I assure. "Now rest, you've had a long week," I tighten my arms around him as I close my eyes and join him in a peaceful slumber.
Jin POV
I smile looking at Taehyung still sleeping next to me. I've missed him. There's still a part of me that still hurts when I remember what he did, but Sandeul was right. If my love for him is big enough then I can try to move on from this obstacle. I lean up to kiss his cute nose mole.
It should be nearing dinner time soon, so I quietly get out of bed as to not wake him and head to the main house to see what my aunt made.
My nostrils are hit with the smell of japchae when I enter the kitchen. My friends look up from their food and welcome me with smiles. "You're alive!" Exclaims Yoongi.
Hoseok rushes up and embraces me in a bone crushing hug. "I'm so sorry Jinnie. If it weren't for my fear of bugs I wouldn't have freaked you out"
"You overreacted babe. I'm pretty sure you scared the bees during all the chaos." Yoongi adds which gets him a glare from his boyfriend.
"As long as you're fine," aunt Min Seo says as she puts away the leftovers in containers. "I'm packing food for you to take to your room and share with Taehyung."
"Thank you aunt." I help her put the food away.
"So are you and Tae going to be fine?" Jimin asks hopefully.
A smile makes it's way on my face at the thought of the cute boxy smiled man laying in my bed right now. "Yes, there's things we need to work on but I love him and he loves me and that's all that matters."
I hear someone snort from the dinning room entrance which causes all of us to turn our heads. "How pathetic," Mrs. Kim taunts.
"I already warned you not to come near my nephew," aunt Min Seo replies leaving the food behind and stepping in front of me.
"Of course it takes a whore to defend a whore," she spits back. "Have you still not told him the kind of slut you are? I assumed he learned that behavior from you." Min Seo takes a step towards her, but I automatically hold her back. "Wait no. I know where he learned it from. He learned it from your slut of a sister."
My body went numb as I hear her degrade my mother with her statement. I didn't even realize my aunt had loosened herself from my grip and punched Mrs. Kim to the ground. "I warned you not to talk shit, you gold digging bitch!" She yells as she continues punching her. The backdoor suddenly opens and Taehyung rushes in separating Min Seo from Mrs. Kim.
"What's going on?" He says holding her down.
"That piece of scum attacked me!" The witch yelled as she wiped blood off her face.
"That's bullshit! What did you say to her?" Tae demands.
"Don't you come in here pretending you're a saint kid," she snaps back. "At least I accept I'm not a good person. I have the time of my life making others miserable. I know you do too, so why don't you admit it?"
"I'm not you, mother," he replies narrowing his eyes at her.
"Well you must get some sort of pleasure watching others be miserable," she takes a step closer to him. "I mean what other reason do you have for bringing that skank home right after your fight with who you claim to be the love of your life."
I feel the air get sucked out of my lungs as a see her mouth turn into a venomous smirk.
